Not sure how this is rated as a 5* hotel, multiple reasons as to why it’s not. Firstly the staff, quite rude, not just one but a handful. There is a cart that goes back and forth to the bottom of Cavtat multiple times a day and we were refused numerous times by staff because other guests were older even though we had queued and waited for our space we were rejected. We are all guests and should all be treated the same, to be honest the stairs down and up to the hotel are extremely steep, very high up and quite dangerous. We only ever wanted to go up as it’s quite high, one staff member let us on once in our entire trip. Some weird cricket sound that plays throughout the hotel lobby and piano bar, it’s awful. No water, I’ve stayed it lots of hotels all over the world and to not provide 1 bottle of water is madness especially when charging 700€ per room (city view). The hotel isn’t catered for any younger generation, 40 or below we believe is treat completely differently to other guests. We watched this on multiple occasions. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone below the age of 40. Good things, beautiful location, Cavtat is wonderful. The views from the hotel are sensational. Lots of nearby restaurants and bars (loved the wine bar!) Water taxi is a must into old town and can book on the day.

This is the second time I’ve stayed in this hotel and it’s like a home away from home! Very comfortable good atmosphere and the staffs are very nice with excellent service from the door, reception, the room attendants, bar and restaurant! I’m very comfortable and relaxed in my stay here. Keep up the excellent work. I always recommend this hotel to friends and even to those I met in our holiday!

This is a beautiful hotel in the charming little city of Cavtat. They were very nice and gave us an upgraded room with a better view, the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We tried two of the restaurants and they both were great. The hotel staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. The location was convenient, although you do have to walk up a steep hill to get back, you can easily take bus 10 into Dubrovnik . The only suggestions I would have for this hotel would be to put a coffee machine in the breakfast as we did not like the coffee that was provided. Also, we had to remind the cleaning staff a couple times to take care of trash and refills of the amenities. Other than that, this is a great hotel..

Definitely get a room on the 8th or 9th floor. They have been renovated. I was on the 7th floor. The glass partition of the shower leaked around the seal. Lots of water on the floor. Didn’t see it when I got out of the tub. Added thrill! This am woke up to a huge centipede in the bathroom.

A nice hotel located very conveniently in Cavtat. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the same every day and some of the breakfast staff was not very attentive. Reception staff was very friendly. A five minute walk to Cavtat and 30 minutes by Uber to Dubrovnik. You can also take bus no. 10. Free parking if you have a car. Parking in Dubrovnik is inconvenient and very expensive.

Beach view is perfect

This is a big hotel, but everything was top notch! Our check-in was quick and easy and they upgraded us to a sea view room. The room was nice and spacious and had a great view! The breakfast was incredible - so many options! We also lounged by the pool and had a tasty lunch. It's really fun to walk into the small town from the hotel. There is a path right along the waterfront. What a beautiful place!
