No hot water in the room for two days! Very disappointing for the amount of money we paid… otherwise the stay was good.

We had to stay because we had no power after hurricane Helene. The staff were all so nice! Tiffany at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It felt like we were staying with family.

The photos don't do the hotel justice. The pool area is lovely, as is the patio with the fire pit. The buffet breakfast was also a nice feature, as there were many options, even for picky children. The property is just a short walk from the beach, and my kid quickly made friends at the pool as there were many other friendly families staying here.

This was our first time visiting Amelia Islands and we had the most AMAZING time! A huge thank you to LaTanya and Aaron - they both executed customer service flawlessly! The breakfast offered a varierty of food options and the complimentary shuttle around the island was an added bonus! We will definitely choose Residence Inn on our return visit.

Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast options. Free ice cream in afternoons was a nice treat. Bed was comfortable. Rooms have a little wear and tear, but most hotels do. Very close to beach, dining and stores. The beach is quiet, not over populated at all. Fort Clinch beach is nice as well and has more shark’s teeth. If your looking for a relaxing peaceful getaway this is area is a good choice.

The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Having the shuttle was so convenient, as parking was limited downtown. The staff really could not have been nicer or more helpful.

Impressed with all that was offered for the price. Walking distance from beach. Free shuttle service. Unlimited free soft serve ice cream afternoon through evening. Great pool and grilling area. Received an upgraded room which was lovely. Super friendly staff.

Close to the beach. Rooms are big enough for two people, good fully equipped kitchen, nice size refrigerator with freezer. We did not like couch, it was thick synthetic cover thus so hot to sit, and not comfortable. Pool is smaller than expected. Breakfast is good enough and different every day. Generally, average stay but at higher price, specifically when they make reconstruction. You would expect better condition for the price you paid.

Our stay was pretty great! The breakfast was wonderful with lots of options. They had outdoor games and a pool and hot tub along with a fitness room. When we checked in they gave us fresh baked cookies. They also had coffee and water on site for throughout the day. The staff was so very helpful and friendly! They also offered a shuttle for the area. The room had plenty of space for our big family. Overall it was a nice place to stay and we would definitely go back! As a plus the beach was only a block away!

Very close to the main beach access. The hotel is currently under renovations so that was a bit tricky to navigate but we managed alright. The pool area could use attention to weeds growing all over which makes it look neglected. The pool was slightly cloudy and sandy. The handicap chair was rusted … which looked unsightly. Also we thought there would be an ice cream bar as shown in the photos but it never appeared. They said they would have cookies but only had them one day which was disappointing for the kids. Most of staff very friendly except one lady at front desk seemed to be very overwhelmed and didn’t have much customer service skills. The One day they had the cookies they were behind the desk. We waited for 15 minutes for her to be done checking someone in and then still she did not give out the cookies.

Upon checking in the credit card wasn’t working , but the employee handled it very well. The only thing would have been to be told they were doing construction . Parking was awful and cars were everywhere. Overall, I would stay again

Arriving at 4:30pm we were told room was not ready. Once we got first available room, heavy disinfectant smell. Absolutely no view from window. Stain on couch.

We stay in this hotel yearly. This time there were a few issues.
Room was humid with cigarette smell. Bed was not properly done. The toilet paper was not a new roll. There was a used soap in the shower.

The property is going through a renovation to the open area/dining area. The renovation prevents internal walking between the checking area/front desk to the rooms without walking outside. Not really an issue since we really didn’t need the front desk. The renovations should be completed soon (2024).
The complementary breakfast is served without too much of an impact. It’s a little tighter but works.
Booking through Expedia or third parties prevents points counting towards the Marriott BON-VoY app.
The beach is a short and direct walk along a sidewalk. Parking at the beach was limited in the parking lot but 4WD and AWD vehicles are allowed parking on the beach. Not sure if permitting is required.
There is a green space walking path from the parking lot. A very nice walk.
There are no balconies. This is the only short coming. It would be nice to dry beach wear and towels off a balcony.
The staff is outstanding. We look forward to returning.

We LOVED this hotel! From the super fast check in to the fast check out. We loved the friendly staff- especially Dawn at night who was just absolutely lovely. The people that ran the breakfast were all amazing! The patio area with the fire pit was a great place to relax at night. It was also in a great location. Would highly recommend this place and would return for sure!

The property was clean and comfortable. I would have preferred being closer to the historic district but this was my first time on Amelia Island.

Second stay here this time instead of with my nana and boyfriend it was a couples getaway. This needs to be advertised as a 65+ exchange hotel. I had done a pre check in to make the process quicker only to have them need a conversation in the back. No communication as to reason why, before assisting an elderly couple that had walked up needing a shuttle to a restaurant, prior to administering our keys. It was almost as though they weren’t used to anyone under 45 checking in, like we shouldn’t be there?? We gave the families with kids their time and space at the pool and intended on enjoying a traditional couples relax by their pool and hot tub later on in the evening. Only to find that the hot tub had been occupied by a single male for over an hour. Keep in mind when we walked over the 2nd time another couple looked like they were waiting awkwardly in the shallow end of the pool. While we dipped our ft in the deep in contemplating the same situation the other couple was obvs having the group of elderly wine drinkers by the fire walked in behind the front desk staff at 830p and all got in the hot tub. As we walked out we passed another couple the same age with the man literally backing up to the scene as a gave the woman a disappointed passing glance.
