Excellent all round

Great location for me as my customer only lives a few miles away. I love the Shepherds huts and always try to stay in one The breakfast is just amazing! All your staff are very attentive and helpful I look forward to staying here again next month

Amazing stay. Lovely room, the beds were comfortable and the shower was amazing. Had a delicious meal on-site and the breakfast was also lovely. Would definitely recommend and would stay again if in the area in future.

Totally amazed at the comfort of the room , it was quiet spacious and the air con was most welcome as it was 33 degrees! I felt safe and very happy , parked outside my door, friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast , I will Definately be back and will reccomend to friends , central to all nearby Suffolk villages and towns , I loved it ..

Shepherds hits brilliant. Beautifully appointed. Everything thought out. Bed needed a step up, but that was a very small complaint.

Lovely room, friendly and helpful staff and great location

We live in the countryside where at night there is no outside lighting so I did find light shining through the door panel and windows disturbed my night. Unfortunately the booking was for rubbish collection day and the early morning dustbin collection was an additional disturbance.

Amazing stay and meal. Couldn't fault anything. Bed very very comfortable. Food was delicious for dinner and breakfast was just as lovely.

Good overall stay…great pie and flexibility on accompaniments though would have fed 3 it was that big…I do wish hotels would have comfier chairs…all else spot on

We only stayed one night. This stay was better than most hotels we’ve stayed in. The room, food and staff were wonderful. Next time I’d like to try the shepherds huts they look great. Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel. Well furnished rooms with 2 king beds, wooden floors and seperate, stylish bathroom. Beds were a little hard for my liking so didnt sleep as well as I'd have liked. Nice and quiet though. The food in the restaurant was outstanding.

Very comfortable, clean and everything one needs. Good location. Good gastro pub food.

Very comfortable large beroom with a wonderfully comfortable bed. The room had all the standard coffee making facilities etc. WiFi was good with a desk to work at. The bathroom was clean with an enthusiastic shower. The only slight niggle is the bathroom has an automatic switch to operate the lights and extractor fans....it was on a hair trigger and seemed to go off on the slightest of movements.I had the liver and bacon for dinner which was even better than the last time i tried it. The range of beers was good and well kept. Breakfast was equally good with a buffet for cereal, juices etc and table service for the freshly cooked food.The staff were all very friendly and efficient. I'll definitely be going back.

A lovely property ,full of character and steeped in history. Our room was spacious and clean and provided everything that we needed. The service we received was excellent and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had.
