The air conditioner panel cannot specify the actual temperature. Also the front desk crew was not very friendly. Otherwise the hotel is greatz very clean, good location.

Hotel is fine. Its clean, comfortable and in an excellent location. Unfortunately the male staff member at check in was rude and didnt seem very friendly. A second member of staff advised me to book a private transfer to the airport at a cost of 20€ as I was bound to in his words get ripped off if i decided to hail a taxi from the street (this was not how I found taxi drivers in sarajevo, infact I found them to be honest and helpful) . I did however take his advice on this occasion as I had an early flight the next morning. The next morning the airport transfer didnt arrive and the staff member who was very helpful ordered me a replacement through a local airport. Cost to the airport with a local taxi firm 7€.

Stay was absolutely brilliant. Loved the hotel and the city. Our room got upgraded and the room we had was massive. Very clean, all the staff were lovely and very helpful, as were all the people in Sarajevo. Will definitely be back and we would definitely stay in this hotel again. Hotel very central ad the name suggests and can walk anywhere in the city. Brilliant stay and would definitely recommend

A wonderful hotel in a historical building. Grea breakfast. A sauna and a swimming pool. An only inconvenience - the elevator broke during my stay...

The location is fantastic, just across the street to the cathedral and a couple of minutes walk to the old town. The staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The sauna was ok, needs a bit of updating. The pool was pretty but very cold! Unfortunately the steam room wasn't working and there was no hot tub. Our first room was very nice but very hot and the air conditioning didn't work. We switched rooms which improved the situation but the air conditioning still wasn't quite right- it was blowing out air but not very cold.

Staff were welcoming and helpful, room was big and well-appointed, there was a good range of tasty options on the buffet breakfast, the pool was large for a hotel (c25m long) and not too busy, and had sauna, steam room and caldarium, and the location was walkable to all the main sites in the city centre and had a taxi rank outside with cabs readily available most times of day.

I was disappointed with this hotel. No parking. No massage in the spa area (this was the only reason I chose this hotel)

Fantastic friendly staff and what a great location for easy access to the Old town and main pedestrian street. Within walking distance to some great museums. We had the Hampton suite with it's delightful balcony. The only let down was that only 2 jacuzzi jets were working in the pool. Highly recommend Hotel Central.

A very pleasant hotel in the old town. Comfortable rooms, but very limited view from the window is the only downside. Fantastic pool in this hotel.

This hotel is in big need for a refurbishment. But besides how run down it is, that could be understood, the seevice is quite terrible: they failed to put enough towels two out three days, one day they forgot to make the room at all … no big loss, though, because when they did, they did not even stretch the bedsheets… other day, they left a bag of trash inside our room… oh, and the cleaning products on the table. Said that, the reception staff try their best to be friendly and the location of the hotel cannot be better.

Great location, very central. Very nice lobby/public spaces with an excellent gym and sauna area, that we unfortunately did not get to use. The service & staff were top notch. We first checked in and were given a very nice room, but discovered that the cleaning crew had somehow missed cleaning the toilet. Gross, but $*!# happens, hah. The receptionist was SO embarrassed and apologetic, and offered us 2 different options of available rooms, so we found another that was also very nice and were happy with the response. Then overnight we got food poisoning, and felt miserable, unable to do anything we'd planned and in my husband's case barely able to stand up straight. I really appreciated that the receptionist & the manager were so helpful and caring, from giving us a late checkout so we could just stay in bed until we had to leave, and getting us some tea and plain rolls to try and eat. They were so supportive that it made all the difference, and I would absolutely stay here again or recommend it. Mistakes sometimes happen in any industry, but in my opinion it's the way things get handled that matters, and this hotel handled everything very well.

Well positioned hotel for exploring the old town part of Sarajevo. Room was a large size in an historic building with a modern, well-designed interior. Very good buffet style breakfast with a range of options. Parking: hotel sent an email explaining where to park nearby (about 75m away, off of the same road) at a price of 15 Euros per day. On departure, parking lot was going to charge 24 Euros per 24 hours; on mentioning hotel, told we needed a card from it showing dates of stay for reduced price. No problem getting this from the hotel even though we'd checked out and then no problem receiving reduced rate. Parking payment in BAM, cash only.

Probably the best location and staff in all of Bosnia. Olympic size swimming pool, huge gym, over 40 English TV channels. Refrigerators in the room, huge rooms with great views. The list just goes on. This was my second stay and I planned an extra night this time because I love this hotel. You walk out the door and your standing in the best shopping/dining area in the country. The staff are very friendly and speak English. Parking is a 1 minute walk. One of my best hotel experiences and I am a seasoned traveller

Very Central (hence name). This hotel is within a minute's walk of the main tourist thoroughfares - even though it is quiet in the room. They have a GREAT pool - 35 meters long, wonderful for swimming. As well as a fitness club. Desk staff are very helpful. Breakfast is filling, tasty, and reasonably priced.

Was surprised to see that the hotel does not serve alcohol. IT was good to find refuge there from other establishments that allowed smoking - everywhere. Staff at reception were great and very friebdly.

Good hotel for someone with very little time to see the main things in old town! I felt it was strange that customers need to scan their key to enter elevator area, then scan to open it, then scan to activate it on all floors! Past experience is that only need to scan to activate elevator on main (ground) floor.

Hotel Central, as it’s name implies, is in a perfect location, right near Old Town. The rooms are sound proof, so no worries about sleeping.

Lovely spacious rooms with authentic charm. We got the top floor turret room. Clean and comfortable and a great base for 5 days

Staff is extremely polite and very helpful and hotel location is excellent!
