I booked a Superior room. The accommodation was very neat and spacious. I was worried about bugs and mosquitoes, but I've never seen them. All the staff in the hotel were kind. Especially the female staff in the lobby was very kind. Breakfast was more varied than I thought and the view was good. The location is nice. I would like to visit again next time.

Staff were phenomenal. Always cleaned our room every morning. Food was amazing , we got the breakfast included which was worth it !! Pool was amazing. Staff were friendly and very helpful!

Breakfast was amazing, staff was so kind and friendly and accommodating. It was nice they had a tourist desk so that helped with booking activities. They were doing construction above our room for most of our stay so that was loud but luckily only during the day. The pools are lovely, but at times had multiple kids in it. Would definitely recommend designating separate kid and adult pools

My seventh stay at the Avani Ao Nang Cliff Krabi Resort was marked by the resort's excellent management and the professionalism of the staff. Every interaction was handled with care, reflecting their commitment to guest satisfaction. While I was slightly disappointed by the discontinued availability of the private beach, this was a minor issue in the grand scheme of things. The resort's location is exceptional, nestled amidst a vibrant area teeming with restaurants and shops, adding convenience and local flavor to the stay. Moreover, the beach is just a leisurely 10-minute walk away, making it easy to indulge in the seaside ambiance whenever the mood strikes. In summary, the resort offers a delightful blend of attentive service, prime location, and comfortable amenities, ensuring a memorable stay in Krabi.

There appears to be a strong smell coming from probably the drains. Some rooms smell more than others. The bed was very hard. Staff were excellent and nearly always friendly. Cleaning could have been done daily, as opposed to upon request. Upper level pool was awesome, but the sun chairs urgently need to be replaced. Oh and 10/10 breakfast curries.

Great location and stunning views from the hotel pool.

The rooms were very comfortable. The blackout curtains and AC work well and we slept great. The sunset view from the infinity pool was fantastic. Overall an excellent stay.

We stayed for 13 nights in Ao Nang and it was perfect the room was beautiful staff were all extremely friendly and would recommend this hotel to anyone going to stay in Krabi area

excellent place

This is a difficult one to review. We booked a pool villa which was huge with a great pool if slightly in need of renovation (bad low pressure shower with mould up the wall, worn flooring, missing pool tiles). It was at the back of the hotel on the hill but was overlooking the sunset bar and the pool so not as secluded as we would have liked, however given we stayed at new year we ended up with a front row seat to the fireworks and celebration without being charged which was nice. However, there were issues with the hotel generally. There are a million lifts in different sections of the main building to use to get to anywhere and there don’t seem to be any service lifts so those lifts are almost always full of staff with crates moving things. Therefore if you don’t want to climb a hundred stairs it takes ages to get anywhere. There is nothing in the mini bar. It’s just a fridge. So you need to buy from the 7 Eleven. And room service wasn’t available after 10pm. It’s not what we expected. And the villas are like a separate add on to the main hotel so for that money I’d not stay again. Staff were generally lovely though especially the drivers of the buggies you can ask for to get to the top if available. Loved Ao Nang generally and we ate out every meal in town in the end, and that was great. It’s an easy walk to most things in the main town which is great.

HORRIBLE. The place catfished me - the room looked lovely online and had a view of the ocean. My room had a ton of street noise and a view of what looked to be a strip club (pic attached). The air conditioning didn’t work and somehow my room was hotter than it was outside (91F / 33C). I abhor this hotel. For the first time ever I left my fully prepaid nonrefundable reservation early to stay somewhere where I wouldn’t practically have a heat stroke every time I tried to sleep. Obviously they didn’t offer any sort of refund or apology. It was also wildly oversold - when I tried to use the infinity pool it was practically standing room only. Not even space to lay a towel down on the floor around the pool. Avoid this place like the plague.

Fantastic property! Beautiful resort with several pools and very happy with our stay. Location is mildly inconvenient since you'd need to take a tuk tuk to get into town but that's pretty easy since you can get one just outside the hotel. Some minor issues for a 5 star hotel like the room-service app did not work for us and keeping towels available at the pools.

Slipped multiple times on property due to tile and rainy weather both outside. The hotel is basic but with great location to everything. Would not stay again as room balcony’s are so close together and don’t offer much privacy.

Had the best experience staying at Avani. The location was perfect, and we had an amazing view from our balcony. Hotel staff were so friendly especially Ging who made us feel so welcome! We miss her already!

Nice location.

This property was in the perfect location, in the middle of shopping, the beach and several restaurants! The views were amazing, awesome pool and very attentive staff! It was a bit confusing finding our tower and which elevators to take, but we would definitely stay here again!

House cleaning need to improve by providing all amenities daily including all towers type and changing wardrobe. Bath tub need to maintain cleanliness.

The pool on the sixth floor was under repair. If I would have know that I would not have booked the room that I did.

This is a nice hotel in an outstanding location. The staff were very diligent and attentive. The view is great and the infinity pool is wonderful. The only thing I did not like is that the 'superior' room double bed is in fact two single beds squashed together with a mattress topper layed across the top. The beds begin to separate after a little movement. Very inconvenient for couples hoping for a romantic stay. Be sure to specify that you need a real double bed and you should have a wonderful stay.

Had a very pleasant stay here over 5D4N. Staff from lobby reception, room service & house cleaning has provided the utmost service. They're also fast in solving any issues we had on the spot. Room is very clean.

Large breakfast buffet with Asian and Western choices. Every member of the staff was friendly and helpful. Enjoyed both pools, room had an umbrella to use. Easy walking to shopping, dining, boats and beach.

Good location convenient for food options and getting the boats to the islands. Rooms were big and bed comfortable enough. Problem was layout of the buildings were not well thought. Had to walk and take several lifts just to go to breakfast. Also the roof top pool although nice views was terribly maintained. Sun beds were dirty and old. Staff didn’t bother to clean them. Has potential but shame about maintanence.
