Probably the best you can get for the money.

This hotel is fab! For its rating you can not go room. Honestly, yea the rooms are compact but it's called cabin so come on, expect it. The bathrooms are like a wet room pod and they are small, useable for a night but much longer and I'd be a bit miffed. The rooms do not have Aircon and somehow my trip was when it was hot. The Staff Member Heidi was great, very welcoming , chatty and helpful in pointing me into places to visit.

Good location on edge of city centre, near river and restaurants. Walkable from train station. Very safe area. No traffic noise. Proper reception facility with option to leave luggage. Modern simple accommodation. Clean room. Useful desk and chair, good wifi, power points. Comfortable bed. Quilt too thick and hot. Hit my head on bottom of top bunk several times. Shower designed by someone who never stays in this accommodation! Wetroom style soaks all of floor by toilet and sink. Combined sink/shower water tap too clever by half. Shower head tiny and can't be adjusted. Nul points! The room with bunk beds would be very small for too people.

This hotel offers bed and breakfast, but no other meals. There are adequate good restaurants, McDonalds etc to cater for meals at a variety of budgets. Rooms are compact and 2 people would be falling over each other in the economy cabins that have bunk beds and only 2 power sockets.

There was hair from a previous guest on the pillow and the chair was filled with crumbs. In general a feeling of a not very clean room.

Very small rooms like in a prison, very small bath. No hair dryer. Poor breakfast.

Generally speaking the stay was pleasant and the overall quality felt appropriate for the price. Staff was also always friendly and everything was clean. The only thing I think could work better is the design of the room bathrooms. Of course given the room sizes and lower budget there have to be some tradeoffs, but some design decisions led to a less enjoyable experience. Notably, the sink extends over the toilet seat, the faucet splashes water over the bathroom when used, and the shelf space is not very conveniently laid out, there is no fan, and the position of the showerhead is somewhat awkward. It might be difficult to change a lot of this since it's part of the layout of the room itself, but still wanted to mention it. This aside, had a pleasant stay and was my second time at the CABINN hotel. I will likely come back for another stay the next time I visit Aalborg!

I just needed a bed for the night having to get up very early, so it was fine, but not for longer stays or as a couple, or someone with a lot of luggage.

The hotel was nicely situated right by the city centre and the water. I was able to easily find where to drive, even the parking lot, without being familiar with the city and while it was dark. The staff was really friendly and accomodating. I somehow made a very stupid mistake of reserving my stay for the correct day (Friday the 24th), but in June of next year, in stead of September this year. But they even overlooked that mistake and gave me a room anyway at no extra cost. When I couldn't sleep I just went down the lobby and bought some drinks. There's always someone there, and they offered me a glass with ice cubes. I thought it was very welcoming.

Everything was fine except bathroom. It was too small!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
