Nice SPA hotel 20min from Tallinn city center

With its two spas and waterpark and its slightly out of town location, this hotel is in our opinion the best spa retreat in Estonia. They also have very unique features like an on-site cinema, saarema mud sauna and honey sauna. Highly recommended!

Spa was excellent and breakfast - great! Recommended!

We stayed in a family room for 4 nights. This was actually two identical rooms with their own bathrooms and doors (and of course, a door connecting the rooms). The rooms were spacious and well-kept, as was the hotel in itself. For us, the only downside to the room was that you could hear the little steps from other (family?) rooms a bit too well. Also, the beds were not the best for our backs but this might not be the case for all - good, decent beds anyway. The spa of the hotel combined with Atlantis waterpark offered something for all of us (parents, 9-yr old, toddler). Just before peak season, it was never too full. Eating in was nice. Breakfast catered to all tastes. Had one buffet dinner which was ok. Liked the food at Black Rose pub and also liked the decor. Also tried both pool bars for lunch and liked what they had to offer. The kids' room did not offer other than sweet things (contrary to what is told online). Did not try the sushi place - they looked nice, although big. Within short walk there's more restaurants, and of course the rest of Tallinn - but you could also do with just the hotel offerings for a few days.

Definately not 4 star hotel, standard room 3 star maximum. Photos that hotels.com provided for a room was superior room photos but I got standard room. There is no conditioner in room, if outside is 30 C then its hot. Shower with curtin, bathroom looked very cheap. Breakfast and spa was both good

I liked the staff, the system was nice. Room was good. But the food at the hotel was mediocre at best. I found it difficult to book a massage, I liked the hotel though. Would stay again.

Hotel had good spa facilities and breakfast had a good choice. Rooms were rather basic and spartan but bed was comfortable,

The decor is a bit dated and the rooms looked old. Our bathroom had some black smudge, the duvet burned cigarette holes, and the spa area was slick and smelly. Otherwise the building was clean enough, the staff was friendly, food good and the water park was nice.

Very simple room definitely not a 4star hotel! Not very clean, very far from the city.

Lovely big room and great facilities. Location a fair drive from Tallinn old town but fine if you have a car. It was very hot while we were there and the air con seemed to be broken in all rooms so the reception staff lent us a fan.

Nice hotel for families.

Went for a short stay with kids. Location is only few km from Tallinn center but Viimsi seems like small and quiet village in a nice way. Services were plentiful within the Spa/hotel and within few minutes of walk one can find more restaurants, shops and many different activities. Also the sandy beach with cafeteria is only 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Room staff was helpful and kind.

Room was clean and had nice big window, which might have been french style balcony. Kids had proper bunk bed instead of some temp solution (like chairs or sofa that can be converted to beds). Service was good and extending checkout time was handled without any extra hassle and with very small cost. Spa was nice and actually consisted of three separate, but connected areas - normal swimming pools, spa area with multiple different saunas and couple of pools and there was also waterpark with multiple slides usable with small extra fee. Everything was very well designed for family vacation (placement of pools, pool bar areas and so on), but not sure if how it works for romantic getaway. There was also an adult only spa side, but we didn't check that out. Location was literally in middle of nowhere. There were couple of shops and some small mall nearby, but that's about it. Weather was pretty bad, so we didn't really explore nearby area, but this definitely isn't number one choice, if you are looking for a hotel for city vacation.
