The room was quite cold with pretty old decor and the tv was not great reception.You had to go outside to get to breakfast not nice when cold. Breakfast was ok.

The hotel itself isn’t bad although it’s in a sketchy area. The front desk service was good. The food was good. The only thing I didn’t like is that the restaurant closes at 2 pm.

Hotel close to city centre and 20 minute walk from the railway station.

Great location, historic center across the road. Easy access from airport. Friendly staff and quite bar in the court yard Good restaurants near hotel. A/C worked great and was silent specially when temperatures outside were over 35°C. A must! We stayed 2 nights at the beginning of our trip and are going back to the hotel for our last day in Roumania!

The breakfast was excellent (4**** star ) with a lot of hot meals the position was in the center of the city with a lot of flowers in the internal garden and wonderful.The price is very good for the quality of service.

A bus stop and a grocery store right outside the hotel. Staff at the service desk is very helpful and accommodating.The only small minus is that there is one iron and one ironing board for the entire hotel.Highly recommend, would love to come back.

The hotel itself is really dated, but the inclusion of period furniture and wall decorations of historic Cluj-Napoca really turned this into a nice relic of the past experience. The front desk staff both when we checked in (at 11pm) and in the morning were helpful and friendly. Our room was huge, with a queen bed, a furniture bar, and a second room with a couch and some sitting chairs. If you are a fan of a hotel with some character and charm, I would definitely recommend checking this out

We stayed here in two different rooms, the first was a suite, 103, and I was afraid we would fall through the floor. It is in need of some significant repairs to the floor as they are all uneven and spongy. Wifi was terrible and there was a very bright light outside the bedroom window and no blackout curtains. The other room, 121, was very nicely updated, clean, comfortable and had good wifi. The bed in 121 was more comfortable as well. The breakfast was decent. They stored our luggage no problem. The area was not that good for tourists, we had trouble locating some museums and some that were supposed to be open were closed. Overall the locals were not very friendly even in restaurants. It was a good stay for before and after our tour but not as a destination.

Well located and very affordable hotel, but really in need of a thorough cleaning and some maintenance. Smoking is prohibited in the rooms, but permitted in the courtyard dining area, so it is very hard to avoid.

You have to pay for using of air conditioning. In the middle of summer not Customer friendly. There's limited parking space. Hotel is perfectly located near city centre.

I got a nice and big room, the staff was welcoming, but the kettle and cups were dirty and they didn't change the sheets every day (only the towles).

Beds and pillows were comfortable. Staff overall was good especially a woman who went out of her way to assist us even before we arrived in Romania. Serving staff didnt always understand English, though. Breakfast was just ok. They need more variety and less soupy and saucy things. I would definitely stay here again, though.

My daughter and I stayed here during our family heritage trip and we enjoyed it a lot. The beds and pillows and room were comfortable. Everything was cleaned daily. The staff was superlative in answering questions I had while still in the USA and before I even arrived. They went out of their way to accommodate our every wish and answer all our questions. The location was good and walking distance to everything. I would definitely stay here again.

Parking lot conveniently located behind the hotel, friendly, multilingual staff, nice breakfast (although not included in expedia price) and super central location.

We arrived late and were able to check in with no problem. The room was small and a little stuffy. However it was about what we expected for the price. The breakfast the next morning seemed a little overpriced.

We loved this hotel it had private gated parking, and was in a quiet secluded part of the city very near the main attractions.

Stayed here in January with few hotel guests; summer it might be noisier due to courtyard cafe and music. But the location is perfect for the old town, close to museums, restaurants, university. Easy to find on main street into the main square. Hotel staff is very helpful, speaks good English. Very good value.
