Great staff. They were very helpful and responded well to communications. The food is fantastic. Family members who were staying at a “big name” hotel a few hundred yards away came to eat dinner with me as their hotel was quite poor. Only thing to be wary of is the lack of a lift. Otherwise a great hotel.

Excellent service from Richard and his Dad. Newly renovated rooms are of very high standard. Beds very comfortable. We had lunch, dinner & breakfast and all excellent. Highly recommend. Also there is a safe locked place to store bicycles and the greenway to Fenit is well worth a visit to Tralee

Great staff, a lot of services available. We really enjoyed breakfast, and the restaurant staff were very kind, bubbly and helpful. We had our laundry done for a small fee, and had our room serviced regularly. An excellent place to stay.

I liked the old fashioned feel of the place but missed having lifts. My room was cosy, very clean and had a super shower. Enjoyed my stay and will return. The current work on the exterior will enhance first impressions.

The dining experience was nice. The room was clean, but it was quite noisy. I wish it had an air conditioning and it would’ve been way easier if it had a lift but other than that, we really enjoyed our stay there.

When I returned at 11pm the staff arranged a toastie for me. I am so grateful! Plus it was one of the best toasties I've had in ages.

This property is centrally located and, therefore, makes for easy access to sights, dining and transportation hubs (bus and train). My room was very nice. The breakfasts on the dining room were substantial which meant that I did not require a lunch on those days I had breakfast. A manager who I had seen on the day I checked in, came into the breakfast room and asked me if my breakfast was good. I was impressed by this, as it is a great when to let guests know that the hotel genuinely cares about the quality of the stay for its' guests.
The reception staff were efficient and professional.

It’s only a block from a beautiful city park and only two blocks from the bus/train station!

The staff at the hotel were so welcoming and friendly to me and my two sisters.
Special thank you to the very kind lady from Poland who looked after us every morning in the breakfast room. I am so sorry for not being able to remember your name. But please know that we all really enjoyed our little chats with you in the mornings while you kindly took our breakfast orders.
Thank you to the entire team at the Grand for being such a lovely, helpful group of people.

Knowing it’s an older hotel there really should be an elevator for bringing luggage up and down as well as people that have a hard time walking

Comfortable twin room. Good selection of breakfast options from a menu. Good quality meals from the bar restaurant, decent sized portions at a reasonable price. Room situated at front of building & street noise was a problem, had to keep windows closed in order to sleep. Staff helpful & friendly. Overall an enjoyable stay.

I love staying in the Grand Hotel, Tralee. From the warm welcome to the lovely rooms and gorgeous food. One of the few places you will get a fresh breakfast, cooked to order and served to your table.

I could not recommend this Hotel highly enough. Lovely room and great bathroom. The shower was very good. The staff friendly and helpful. Food superb. I would put this hotel first on my list whilst staying in Tralee.

The Grand is well located for business or the theater in Tralee but needs a good cleaning and updating. The carpet and the fabric covered chair in the room were both very stained. The TV got few channels and kept saying "weak signal" as the picture/sound went in and out. (Because of the weather, I spent more time in the room than usual.) The bed is too close for use of at least one charging point. (The bed was not movable.) Staff was friendly and helpful.

The Grand is a very nice hotel in the heart of Tralee. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The included breakfast, with a number of options, was excellent. There is also a very good bar in the hotel. Service was all around top notch.

The Grand was a charming hotel in a lovely Irish village. Proximaty was excellent and the people were welcoming. The only consideration is that there is no lift, but they do bring your bags up. Overall an excellent experience!

Small, traditional hotel in a great location in Tralee. Lovely bar and restaurant downstairs. The highlight of the hotel is the staff and service. All the staff I interacted with, reception, bar, restaurant were very friendly, the right level of attentive and service was fantastic. Cannot praise them enough. Bedroom was a good size and very clean. The room and the bed were very comfy - slept very well. Some aspects of the hotel in general could do with a bit of an update (e.g bedroom tv’s, some of the carpet) - but nothing major. Overall a really lovely, comfy hotel with great staff. Would definitely stay again.
