It was a roof over our head and a warm place to stay for the week. For a week stay we had to move our room due to the suspect of unauthorized entry in our room which was immediately resolved by the staff. The second room the TV didn't work unless it was hooked up with my personal electronics. It was suggested that we move again in which we declined as it was late in the night and busy with family. The beds for the two rooms were extremely uncomfortable sunk down to the springs. The pillows, linens, beds and towels were all overdue for a refresh as they were terribly worn out with holes. The climate control to the rooms needs to be addressed either use the unit or the wall control. The toilet flappers were broken and had to be repaired by maintenance. The carpet in the hallways have seen better days ripped, faded and worn out. I would've spoken to the manager myself however she was already being lectured by other guests with the similar complaints. Guests were not respectful of quiet time with running in the hallways, randomly knocking on doors at all hours of the night. This is a disgraceful place for families to stay for an affordable place to see thier family in a military town. The excuse given: this place recently changed ownership. Shut it down refresh it and reopen. Do not try to stay open during transitions. I hope a negative review will improve this place in the future it will take a lot of time to bring it to corporate level standard.

Needed a hotel for one night for a last minute birthday dinner out of town. Booked and loved the stay. It was cleann, great location, and staff was friendly

We were given the wrong room key and tried to get into an occupied room. Front desk clerk apaologized and used the excuse that she works two jobs. Went through the embarrassment of trying to open the door and greeted by a baffled guest as to why we were trying to getinto theor room. The hall way in the 3rd floor smelled like marijuana smoke. We werent greeted when we arrived the level of customer service wasnt LaQuinta inn style i have been ised to getting. At breakfast someone dropped a bagel.with cream cheese and the floor was smeered. An employee was told abiut it and they just nodded their head, no acknowledgement of we will get right on it , a thank you for letting us know, nothing. At check we were just pointed to a spot on the counter for where to leave the keys.no greeting and was not asked about stay.

I'm not sure whether this is a Hotels.com or La Quinta Inn issue or both. We pre-paid for 2 queen beds and were placed in a king room with a sofa bed. We made it work but it was disappointing.

The was a light inside the bathroom vent that appeared to be illegal recording I think this place needs invesdThe hotel only offer room services every 3 days. This is unsanitary. The carpet was very dirty in the hallway. There was also a huge gap in between the door and the door frame . I will never stay here again

There was a lot of issues with the key locks. The lights in my room kept flickering. The elevator went down and we had to walk to the third floor. The breakfast was not that great it made me an my son sick. The dresser in my room was dirty and it look like the wood was deteriorating. I will not stay at this hotel again.

I’m not going to be doing any more reviews because this hotel l like staying at but some of the clerks expecially this clerk kept trying to switch the rooms l reserved and in the end did l requested a suite she said I requested a handicap bathroom I did not I told her I reserved a suite she said I have one but when I got to the room it was not a suite and had a handicap bathroom

It’s older furniture in rooms, but I don’t really care as long as it and the room is clean. The room and lobby and lobby BR were all spotless and the bed so comfortable I fell asleep in 5 minutes. I left before the breakfast was ready at 6am but was able to grab coffee, a pastry and banana to go. Staff was very accommodating and polite. No complaints. Great stop and good sleep for an overnight trip!

We’ve stayed at this La Quinta a number of times and although this an older Inn, the convenience as our halfway stop from FL to NC, makes it a decent stop. The room we were given was the best of our 4 trips we’ve had. The free breakfast is good too.

I checked in around 11 pm on a Wednesday evening. First room had a smoke alarm continuously beeping. Second room had a non-working ac unit- when I returned to the front desk, the receptionist asked me in 3 ways if I turned on the unit from the wall. I kindly stated ‘I would like a different room.’. Third room has been locked by a dog-coffee table has significant chew marks, the carpet was torn, the couch had unmatched cushions- but the ac worked and it was quiet. The bed has seen better days, but I was tired and slept okay. The breakfast had hot and cold options-I passed as nothing was overly appealing. I selected the hotel based on best ratings for the price range I was seeking in a small GA town. I will not return to this location. The parking lot was well lit- know the license plate details, as they will ask (not sure why).

We stopped off to leave our bags in our room because we didn’t want to leave valuables unsecure in our car. When we got back later that evening our room key wouldn’t work. I was waiting for my husband to sort the key issue when an employee came to our door I thought to help me, but no. She was there to let a stranger into our room to retrieve a phone. The employee didn’t even acknowledge me until I challenged her and asked why a group of strangers were in my room in the first place. The hotel had reassigned our room while we were out and allowed these people in our room. What’s worse when I expressed concern about our valuables and property the employee lied and told me she had been with the group the whole time and she knew without a doubt no one had touched our property. This of course made no sense because why would an employee escort guests to a room and go in with them. It was all very confusing and upsetting. She eventually admitted the group had been in our room unattended. Don’t trust this hotel if you have valuables, it is not secure!

Room was listed as being able to sleep 5 but only had room for 4. Bathroom was dirty. Had to make 2 trips to the front desk to get our room keys activated and so did several other guests who checked in at the same time my family did. I do not recommend this property!

I booked a suite one month before my stay. When I got to the room I discovered it was not a suite. I informed reception about the mistake, and they gave me keys to another room. That room ended up being already occupied by other visitors. I informed reception again, and I was told there were no more suites available, even though I had booked a suite one month prior. They gave me a room that cost significantly less than what I had already paid for, but they would not give me a partial refund to make up for the price difference. During my stay I talked to three different people at the reception desk about this problem. They all told me they would let the manager know. The manager was conveniently never there when I was there. I never received any communication from the manager about this problem. I was asked upon check-in if I wanted housekeeping during my stay. I said yes, but housekeeping never came to my room during my stay. The sheets had hairs on them from previous visitors. The shower water was scalding hot, there was no cold water. The air temperature in the pool area felt like it was over 100 degrees. There was only one chair in the entire pool area, so if you don't want to swim with your kids you have to just stand there and sweat. The only positive thing I have to say about this hotel is the hot breakfast was good.

Front entrance was so welcoming, as soon as you turn the corner, the horror begins, a horrible stench hits you and you immediately see the source, the carpet is awful, just nasty, the sheets on my bed were dirty, a dog barked all night long.

Checked my account the next day & still posted twice to my account & double billed for a one night stay. Poor & unorganized customer service.

Property hasn’t had any upkeep done in quite some time. Staff was not the most professional. Can definitely use some retraining. Maintenance is severely lacking in rooms and overall. Some updating needs to happen as well as overall maintenance.
