We liked the bar staff and enjoyed eating outside. Parking not straightforward. Room was clean, ok, but expensive. Reception not very organised.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. Santander is a great place to visit & Sardinero area is fantastic. Hotel terrace with sea view is nice & the locale is quiet. Close to restaurants & bars. Caribe is good for a few drinks & Costa 43 is great for food & atmosphere 👌

Have stayed here many times. Perfect location. Great views from the rooms. Restaurant food is very good. In a beautiful quiet location yet only a two to three minute walk to the beach and all amenities

I spent 4 days in Santander and the hotel is really good. Nice location, clean and staffs are very nice and helpful. They helped me to arrange for early check in and helped us to book the restaurants. I am pretty sure I will book this hotel again.

Gran Hotel Victoria is few minutes walk to the beach. The staff are very nice. Also, the hotel and my room are very clean. Quiet hotel.

Lovely hotel with all the modern conveniences, conveniently located for Santander's Sardinero beach, and close by to the Palacio de Magdalena and near enough to Santander town centre.

Hotel was clean and room was quite big with terrace. Asked for a double bed and got 2 singles pushed together. No tea/coffee making facility available in room or free water. Breakfast was expensive; others got offered bacon/eggs, we did not just the buffet.

Overall a lovely experience. The hotel is in the perfect location to explore the local coastal area and only 30minutes away from the centre of Santander.
The only things missing is the ability to make a tea/coffee in your room as no kettle available and no iron. For the nightly rate, this would have made the experience more value for money and a nicer experience as the room is essentially room only.

Staff was SUPER nice and helpful!!! The staff at the bar, the front desk, cleaning, and breakfast. Excellent!! Views from the balcony were memorable. Rooms well appointed, clean and comfortable!! Was our 25th wedding anniversary trip and worth every euro!!!!

Hotel is nice, clean and simple. It is old although certain parts have been rejuvenated. We had a junior suite and it was very large with a great terrace and an amazing view. We paid extra for the included breakfast, don't bother, the food is absolutely awful. Better off to get something in a cafe nearby.

Its a great location, near the beach and local restaurants. The service was great. Friendly staff! The triple room was comfortable for us. We each had a bed and we also had enough toiletries offered by hotel service. We had a great relaxing experience. The balcony was a plus!

A lovely place to stay close to lovely restaurants and beach

We always use this hotel because it is consistently good- there was a problem with the tv - we reported it at midnight’ish when we got in. They thanked us but it has not been replaced. This is not a big problem as only stopping one night.

Close to the beach. Bathroom has bad smell. Shower curtain also has a smell. Bathroom needs a good exhaust system.

Pleasant hotel well situated. The coast is really scenic. Good for coastal walks. Santander is an elegant city. Visited Bilbao, Castro Urdiales, Santillana and Comillas, each within reasonable travelling distance.
