The breakfast was not worth eating Staff friendly but cats humoing at 4am not awesome For price it wasn’t worth it but I’m Canadian so cost more

Excellent place. Very nice property.

Not good value for money. High rates, but no English speaking channels on TV. Bar never open. Staff very good, but hotel lacking, especially given high price.

Just go somewhere else. The whole property is very dilapidated and nothing like the pictures. It looks like it has been shut down for years. It was only us and one other couple staying during our time. The room was OK but there were ants everywhere. The staff was very nice and took care of the ant situation when we told them. Breakfast is very small but good. However there were ants all over in the cereal. Eggs made to order. They offer a shuttle service to and from the airport which was nice. I never write a review and hate saying bad things but I thought this one was necessary so other people don’t make the same mistake.

The Rim is well located to explore the old town with many cafes and restaurants nearby. Our room was spacious but the bathroom was in need of a refurb. Mouldy tiling in the shower was not very welcome! The pool, although rather cold, was a great way to cool off at the end of the day!

A really warm welcome and everything you need. Loved the free airport shuttle and night bazaar shuttle. Free cultural activities by the pool each afternoon (some edible) and good facilities in the room. It does have some ‘rustic’ charm and for some might be too far from the main attractions (around 10-15 minute walk) but we were very happy.

the room is big, beautiful and well furnished. The food very tasty, breakfast is fresh and a lot of variety of food.

We stayed five nights. This is a good hotel. The staff are very polite and attentive, service is excellent. The staff go out of their way to help with any queries.We were travelling with our ten month old baby, and were given a baby cot and allowed to check in several hours early. This was a really nice touch.There was very noisy building works going on in the building adjacent to our hotel during our stay. There was also planned maintenance work going on at the hotel. We were not told of this in advance of us arriving. The manager told us that the building works next door should have finished in December, and were running late. He had also been told that the builders would not start work until the afternoon; they started each morning at around nine thirty. Our room was immediately adjacent to the building site, but we were offered a new room the opposite side of the hotel, and a discount on the first few nights when we had been affected. This was hugely appreciated by us.The rooms are immaculately clean, and well presented with lovely balconies overlooking the pool. Breakfast is excellent and served in the adjacent restaurant (which seems pretty much abandoned at other times of the day). The location is good for most sites being just in the old city. Most good restaurants are a short tuktuk or taxi ride away.The pool unfortunately is very cold.

Amazing customer service! This is our absolute favorite place to stay when in Chiang Mai - yes, the facilities and food are wonderful but that staff and customer service are exceptional.

This property is our favorite in Chiang Mai! The staff is absolutely unbelievable! They work extremely hard to serve our every need and are incredibly kind and helpful. From the check in staff to the restaurant staff, and even the drivers of the shuttle, their customer service is unmatched in the region. Thank you for your continued incredible service! By the way, I have stayed at this hotel now a number of times and have had the same incredible service every time - this shows remarkable consistency which I greatly appreciate. I can rely on this hotel staff for a remarkable experience in any season.

the supreme deluxe double room was nice looking out the pool on the top floor but no steady hot water in the shower.

Since this is located in old city, it has a good access to local market, including Saturday and Sunday market. Walking around Old City, I could feel and experience more Thai local culture. Regarding the hotel, it provided excellent service- nice staff, clean room and surroundings, and pick-up service, etc. I will definitely stay in Rim Resort in my next visit to Chiang Mai.

Georgeous, traditional-style buildings. Calm and beautiful pool. In the old city, so near to the sites

The hotel is tranquil, nicely designed in a more traditional Thai style. (we weren't interested in staying at a generic North American style hotel while in Thailand.) Rooms are spacious, and we opted to pay a little extra for a deluxe room and so had a nice tub, patio with seating, and bar area with mini fridge. It was great to stay in the old city. We found it easy to get around and wander, but if we wanted ideas of where to go, the staff were wonderful. They have a handy shuttle to the night markets, and especially recommend the one that happens only on Sundays. The staff are incredibly helpful, attentive and sweet. The hotel is set back a bit from the busy street, and has a garden courtyard that makes it feel peaceful and lush in the midst of the city. Only rough spot was with the restaurant/ room service staff - communication was challenging and it was hard to get what we wanted with the language gap (even w Google translate) The pool area is pretty and relaxing, but pool itself is really cold, even with the hot temps outside, water was super cold, and no one was swimming. Would have loved to be able to swim! Wifi is wobbly, but that's generally true most everywhere in Thailand, so can't fault them for that. Would stay here again for sure.

The staff was really kind and worked hard. When we wanted to watch the soccer match which wasn’t on tv in the room, they set up their laptop and hooked it on the Tv screen in the room. So nice of them. Room was very clean and spacious with good size balcony. Very quiet. Bed was very comfortable.

以舊城區而言雖非居於中間地帶，可運用當地廉價交通工具補足非是問題，但除此之外，可說令人有極高滿意度。 飯店古樸風格是很喜歡的道地特色，泳池雖不大，設計卻很搭建築風格，整體氛圍是寧靜地置身於樹林之中的休憩之所。 房間位置與大小及內用品、清潔度皆相當不錯，大門守衛有禮盡責，餐廳菜色不多卻夠用，且每日會稍作變化，服務員 Pone 常帶微笑又禮貌服務得極好。 飯店每天還有專車接駁到夜市，也可日租單車，離開飯店還有專車送到機場，可說非常盡責於服務使達標。 若習慣五星高級飯店者，這裡或許還有進步空間，但對比CP值，我覺得已經非常棒了！ I'm loving stay at The Rim Resort. They provide me a place like home. I'll very glad stay here again in next time. Thanks to every crews's service especial to Ms. Pone.
