The hotel has very bad service. The owner has a bad mode against guests and gave us (family with kids) a super smal and dirty room. Even do the hotel had nicer and bigger family rooms avalibel. We got to know this since our frind did a walkin chekin the same day. He also checks evry move you do at the hotel and swish of the lights outside so its impossible to see and use outdoor space. He closes the breakfast to erly and refuse to serv paying guests. I wouldn't recomend this hotel to anybody. Stay away!

Very clean rooms with all necessary amenities. Great price including breakfast, parking and swimming pool. Beautiful location on top of a mountain. Friendly staff at front desk and at breakfast desk.

Lovely hotel. Good wifi. Staff were very pleasant. Lot of attention to detail in the rooms, even with slippers and towelling robe. Large choice of food and drink in buffet breakfast. Certainly didn't go hungry. We didn't use the pool as we were out sight seeing all the time but looked clean and a nice asset. Lots of places to eat in the little village just a very short walk away. Great atmosphere in the village when we first arrived as they had an open air market and free band playing on Thursday evenings. I cannot express how lovely this was after a long drive from Pisa and after 6 days of mega sight seeing in Rome and Florence. The day we arrived at Astra hotel I could feel my whole body just relax...just the feeling I had been anticipating. I would highly recommend this hotel but would advise best to hire a car as it's a bit out of the way of the lake and up a really, mega winding road!!!!

The hotel is very dated but otherwise fine.

Very positive reception. staff very smiling and sweet. Very helpfull. Speaking both german and english.

The family who ran the hotel were lovely, the location is very convenient to walk to restaurants and drive to areas on the west coast of Lake Garda or just to relax by the pool. I travelled with my 6 and 9 year old and we had a lovely holiday visiting Limone and Malcesine by boat.
