Very nicely managed hotel. Service desk and everyone in the office is very pleasant and happy to help. Good size room, beds are comfortable and bathroom is good sized and clean. Breakfast buffet is very rich and tasty. So many items to choose from and coffees and drinks are good as well. I was impressed by everything at Alpin Resort and I will definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy the beautiful time in Poiana Brasov. Good work everyone. Thank you for making our stay very enjoyable.

The room was not clean, bad smell + cigarettes smell during the whole night (non smoking room), noisy party until 05:00AM, the hot dishes at breakfast were cold, rotten cucumbers that I wouldn’t dare to serve, the parking was full and they did not assist with offloading space or told us about the valley parking. Very high price for a very bad experience. We will never stay there again.

Breakfast was excellent! I have booked 1 night with Expedia, 2nd night with hotel directly. Men who checked me in was very good. Next day I called desk for Xtra blankets and they said why do I need more? After making clear my kids were with me. I booked a large room. They finally gave me an extra blanket.... Restaurants ath the property not kids friendly. Overall it was good

The hotel is in really bad condition.

We got a room that reeked of cigarettes but was disguised with some spray. The table on the balcony had lots of cigarette burns, the carpet is very old, stained, matching the overall terrible smell.The balcony and the outside looks like it was never cleaned.It is not easy to find the amenities, the outside pool is very small, good for several small children.The pictures on the website do not reflect the reality on site.Guests and staff observe mask wearing very loosely. Some staff have masks under their nose, some on the chin, but a few do wear them.We were disappointed with Poiana Brasov overall, we drove down to Brasov to eat dinner, highly recommended.I don’t I would go there again, not even for a free stay.

Overpriced! First and last time! No status recognition at check in! Old rooms, noisy and poor breakfast. Extra charges for some taxes and lots of questions and papers to fill up at the check in. This is not a 4**** hotel!

Beautiful hotel and stunning views. The staff was quite overwhelmed and didn’t had enough personal to serve the guests. Some staff members were ok, some rude. Overall was ok!

Despite the difficult times that we are passing through I must raise my hat to the level of service we had during our visit

First of all the access to the hotel is difficult if you don't have a car, it is not faraway from the bus station in Poiana Brasov but the street has almost no sidewalk and you have to climb a couple of stairs (not indicated for elderly persons). The made the reservation late in the evening the same day, was tired I did not pay attention that the room I received was much smaller than what I payed for (23 sqm) and had twin beds instead of a queen size as it was specified in the confirmation mail. When I realised this after midnight, I went to the reception where they told me that the rooms are all the same and it is just a design aspect. But it was clear that the room I booked and was even shown in the hotels.com app did not correspond to what I got. The room is cozy with an artificial fireplace but the beds are hard and small. Finally they gave an apartament instead, an upgrade as compensation. Though I still do not understand why I could not receive what I payed for from the beginning. Even in the apartment the bed was hard. The pillows too small. The radiator in the bathroom did not function. They do not have body lotion in the cosmetic kit which is surprising for a 4 stars hotel. A compensation is the nice view from the balcony and the excellent spa and sauna with very large pool included in the room price. Wifi is fast. The breakfast is ok, but they don't have natural juices. Overall, ok, nicely decorated, fine location, but the service needs improvements.

I had a really cozy stay at Alpin Hotel,the room was very clean with a really interesting design and a nice touch with the electric fireplace.The place has a big swimming pool besides other hotels and a great breakfast.It has only one main restaurant where you can eat and the service is slow but the food,classic romanian is tasty.

Stale moldy carpet, water pouring from the air conditioning unit, musty pungent bad smelling rooms. Great staff and service.

We wanted to stay in this area as we wanted to visit the castles in the area (Peles, Bran and Rasnov) and may be do a couple of day hikes. Unfortunately the weather had other plans and it rained most of the time we were there - we did visit the castles but couldn't do the hikes. The hotel gym was quite good though and at least we felt like we were getting our dose of exercise. The hotel provides an excellent breakfast with a large array of choices and good coffee machines. The rooms whilst rather small and may be a little on the 'tired' side, have everything you need, and as the hotel facilities are very comprehensive you don't need to spend all your time in the room. They have very good spa facilities and the pool is large with a couple of spas as well, if that is your thing.

Everything was great, starting with the room, breakfast, swimming pool. The only cons that I see is that the outdoor playground is left uncleaned and that the personal is a mix between experienced people and less experienced, but with more less experienced personal. Overall it was a great holiday, with the kids having the indoor playground only for them, swimming pool for kids that was great for them.

We even had the window shut and we were on the 7th floor. I’m sure this will vary by where your room is but we just wanted a good nights sleep as we only stayed there one night and this was hard to do with music blaring in. The hotel itself was nice a little out dated but nice. Food at the hotel was good.

Everything was excellent ,just the restaurant supervisor was totally not on the same page with all clients ,he was answering to his personal phone calls and you can hear all his personal problems,also his attitude was bad
