The reception staff were very friendly and efficient

Well located and good value for money

As the name suggests this is a budget hotel. Small room and bathroom. Good comfortable and clean bed. You get what you pay for. OK for an overnight stop.

Good location, an idea might be to separate the hotel parking from Lidl , maybe just set an area aside

Ibis Budget at Portishead is well run wit friendly and helpful staff. The room was adequate, clean and with a comfortable bed and chairs, it was cleaned and the bed made up each day. Free parking in the adjacent car park is a clincher, as is the position of the hotel adjacent to the marina, with shops and eating venues aplenty.

Ok for one night stop on way to Falmouth

Its a good place to stay, rooms are basic but comfortable and clean and a good location with amenities for eating and shopping next door. Ample free parking is great too

Basic room. King size bed with spotlessly clean bed linen. Mattress and pillows a little too firm for me but that is just my preference. Receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Free breakfast of coffee, orange juice, water, croissant with jam and butter, a cereal bar and a tangerine. View of Portishead marina .

Staff were genuinely friendly & helpful. Hotel really well located - Lidl & Waitrose on doorstep, a Spoons nearby plus town/marina a short walk.

Pros: good location, check in staff polite and lovely, next door to two supermarkets, easy parking, easy to control the temperature of the room and lots of hot water when showering. Less good - bed quality - mattress a little soft. More noise than expected in the room coming from the street but didn't prevent sleep. Overall felt good value for the price paid and better than many budget chain hotels.

This was the second time I have stayed in an Ibis in Italy and it was really nice, however this time it was just ok. It was very basic and the building and rooms are very tired. It was clean and the facilities were ok. The room was really hot - in fact the heater was set to 24 degrees when I walked in which seems very wasteful as the heating had clearly been on for hours beforehand. If all rooms are like this then the energy being wasted is going to be incredibly high. The staff I spoke to were nice.

Great value and get what you pay for so basic but fine. Good location and plenty of food options close by, free parking also helpful.

stayed for one night which was ok ,room was clean ,and the bed was comfortable .The only downside was the noise from outside woke us up before 6am . Good points are the location to the Marina and restaurants and the free parking .

Stayed 4 nights. Bath and shower area not cleaned.

Well located, basic but comfortable hotel. No frills, just a large white room with a decent bed. The whole hotel could do with some capex being spent on it, but given the price you're paying this should be acceptable to most people, especially if your rate includes the breakfast bags as ours did. Top marks go the very helpful and kind staff on the front desk.

The hotel was dirty, worst I’ve stayed in for a long time. I travel with business a lot.
