The owner is very friendly and breakfast lives up to the hype! Cleanliness needed some attention, at least a thorough vacuum…

Absolutely fantastic. Stuart was a really hospitable and informative host, and the B&B has everything you can wish for (including freezer filled with ice and frozen fresh fruit for drinks !). The room was very clean and very comfortable, and Stuart seems to have thought about all the little things that people often wish for in a B&B. Would definitely recommend and we’ll Be coming back in future.

Very warn welcome

We were very happy with our stay at this BnB. The owner has such a warm personality, went the extra mile to share advice as a long term resident, and is an amazing chef. His breakfast was superb! The room was comfortable, he offered laundry service to his guests (for additional fee), and was warm and welcoming.

Lots of information from the host and easy access to the town and facilities

Amazing place to stay. Can easily walk into town (parking is a major issue in town). Room/bathroom was spotless. The best breakfast offerings I have ever had at a B and B. The choices are amazing. The host could not have been more helpful in recommendations, etc. Highly recommend

Fantastic host. Lots of helpful info for dining options and how things work on Skye. Great literature for hikes, maps, etc. ice, mini fridge, microwave and utensils in case you buy takeout. Great conversation with the owner and others at breakfast (which had a huge variety of options) about what else to see in Scotland. On site parking. Definitely would stay again.

Fantastic B&B. Room was nice and comfy. Stuart is a fabulous host. Knows the area extremely well and willing to offer advice as well as other places to visit. Helpful with dining options also. Breakfast is absolutely amazing, off the charts! Provided with lots of options. Don’t need to eat again till diner time. Highly recommend staying here!

Stuart runs a very tight and tidy B&B - clean, comfortable, all amenities, along with a tremendous choice of delicious hot and cold breakfast foods. Highly recommended.

Hosts, Stuart & partner, were fantastic. Great home cooked breakfast & even some lunch snacks. Comfortable rooms & good bathroom. Easy parking a big plus. Loved our stay.

Our hosts went far beyond usual hospitality when our rental car got a flat tire. They helped in every way possible. Their kindness will forever be remembered. As for amenities, heated blanket was comforting and breakfast made to order-they truly think of everything. You will regret not staying with them.

My stay at Gleann an Ronnaich was wonderful. The hosts were very accommodating and lovely to talk to. Breakfast was incredible, so many choices and fresh made every day to your preference! The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. The bed was so comfy! The bathroom was also very clean and the shower fantastic! I would definitely stay here again while visiting Skye!

Best B&B we've stayed in. Nice, clean comfortable room. Good tv and wifi. The breakfast has an amazing amount of choice. The hosts are friendly, generous and thoughtful, going to every effort to make your stay enjoyable.

This place is fantastic! Super clean, quiet, and comfortable b&b right outside downtown Portree. The breakfast each morning was superb. Stewart was extremely helpful suggesting hiking trails, restaurants, and transportation around Portree. I highly recommend!

Stewart puts the BREAKFAST in Bed & Breakfast. Best breakfast at a B&B I've had. So helpful with info for the area and friendly. Comfortable bed and cozy. I would definitely recommend.

Okay for a quick stopover

What a delightful experience! Stewart was a very wonderful host. Breakfast was made to order and incredibly served and delicious. This place is within walking distance easily to the town. This is the place to stay!

Great Hosts! Attention to detail here and the breakfasts are AMAZING! Quiet and personal!

Our host was very friendly and helpful. The property looks a bit run down, especially the stairs to the rooms. The breakfast was okay. The location was good. About 10 minutes downhill to town, so a little longer return trip, but very manageable.

Had a wonderful stay, excellent breakfast. Just a short walk into town. Stuart had all the information we needed for a great stay.

Stewart and William have made a nice B&B very close to downtown Portree. The room was spacious and comfy. A nice tea & coffee station with snacks was provided in the room. We were welcomed by Stewart who was gracious to wait for us to check in later than the cut off time. We called ahead to tell him of our later arrival and it would be ok. He gave a quick tour and was on his way to Pilates. Breakfast was a grand treat! Stewart is a great host, chef, and tour guide giving us history information as well as places to watch out for on the isle. Like the pay to park road pull offs. His breakfast was amazing cooked to order and garnished with flowers from his own gardens! Out last morning there we needed to leave extra early to catch a ferry to Isle of Harris. He offered and was insistent to make us breakfast an hour earlier than normal to see us on our way. I would stay here again a fan I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you Stewart and William for providing a great play to stay.

The presentation of the room was excellent,the host full of knowledge about Portree . Best of times to visit attractions Breakfast was amazing,with plenty of choices……if you leave hungry you haven’t tried. Parking just outside the door and walkable to town if needed. Easy to recommend this lovely accommodation.

This B&B was wonderful. Stu is very friendly and helpful, and cooks a wonderful meal! The property is about a 15 min or so walk into town which is not bad at all. I booked a single room and had exclusive use of the bathroom downstairs. The bed was super comfy! I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the isle of skye and considering it will likely be a once in a lifetime trip for me, im glad i had a great experience

So very welcoming were the hosts, and I loved their dog! Breakfast is very filling and will set you up right for whatever it is you are tackling that day. Whatever you may need, or any advice, the hosts are very accommodating and helpful. I loved my experience here and will stay only here if I end up coming to skye again. Thank you!!
