Wonderful property. Room was large and very comfortable - best sleep I had in Greece. The owner was extraordinary- so kind and friendly. You can walk to the Main Street, restaurants etc. in about 10-15 min. I highly recommend Iridanos!!

It is a real gem! We were super impressed by Iridanos. The guesthouse is beautifully designed, very clean and conveniently located (close to the monasteries and also to the city center). We highly recommend this place, also because of the spectacular management and staff.

Iridanos Guest House is a wonderful and charming facility at the foot of the amazing Meteora cliffs near Kalambaka. It is beautifully decorated with furniture and decor that make you feel like you are in a five star hotel. The staff is amazing and attentive and the included breakfast was delicious and fresh. We will stay here again if we have the chance!!

It was a short one night stay. The manager took us to our room, gave us a map of the area and information about the local monasteries. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and abundant.

The place is beautiful and unique. We would stay there again. Rooms are very nice and also clean. It is a classy place with great style. More modern than usual places in Greece as the bathroom had a fan etc... The only strange thing was that it had a coffee maker, but no coffee or tea or anything for the maker.

Beautiful accommodations! Very roomy and comfortable! Thank you.

We had a amazing time at Iridanos! In our opinion the best place to stay when visiting Meteora. It’s located slightly out of town which is great in terms of parking and silence at night. Still, going into town takes just about 10-15 minutes on foot. Everyone at the guesthouse is so friendly and helpful and breakfast is amazing. Overal, great value for your money. Definitely book here for your trip to Meteora !

Perfect family-run comfortable hotel for an overnight visit of Meteora. At the end of town (difficult to walk) but very convenient to drive with parking. Very friendly, personable and welcoming service. Gave great tips on sunset and photo spots for Meteora. Recommend.

Very nice hotel, with thoughtful and tasteful decoration. Owner went out of her way to do a late check in for us and provided a great breakfast, plus useful tips on our visit to the Meteora Monasteries.

We took a 12 days trip in Greece. This hotel is the best!! Wonderful and so helpful customer service! Gorgeous room with beautiful ceiling, decent furniture and even we have a fireplace in our room. The breakfast is also the best we have in our 12-day-trip in Greece. You will spend about $260~$350 to have the similar service in the US.

It rained during our stay else it is a 20 min walk to downtown Kalabaka. The room has beautiful woodwork, tiles in the bathroom, and a nice balcony. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious. If it was so foggy, we would have seen the rocks from our room. Front desk was very friendly and quick checkin. If you don’t have a car or don’t want to walk, you will need a taxi to/from here.

By far my favorite place I’ve ever stayed at. The owner was so welcoming and kind. The BEST breakfast! Seriously, I’m still dreaming about the food! If I ever find myself back in Kalambaka I will be staying here again. Thank you!!

A very enthusiastic and helpful host. Since we had limited time, she was able to give a clear and concise summary of the route around the monasteries and even pointed out the two rock outcrops for the best view of the sunset.
Our only dissatisfaction relates to the dim lighting in the bathroom - perhaps we're just getting old. Otherwise, a very enjoyable one night's stay.

Small hotel with all the comforts, except towels are passed their use by date. Tavern straight opposite with nice food selection. Easy access to all Meteora tourist destinations. Owner was very helpful.

The hotel was charming and quaint yet modern. The finishes are exquisite. The staff was there for every need. The breakfast they serve is incredible. And the location is perfect. It’s family run and you feel taken care of as soon as you walk through the door. We would definitely stay here again and would rate it 10 stars if we could.

We stayed 4 nights at Iridanos and couldn't be happier with the experience. Seriously- this place has amazing old world charm with fabulous hospitality!
First, the hotel is lovely with spacious rooms that are richly furnished, comfortable beds, plenty of hot water and balconies that have a view of the beautiful Meteora rocks. Breakfast each morning was extremely generous - boiled eggs, Greek yogurt, cold cut meats, cheeses, pastries, fruit, bread, juice and coffee. The perfect meal to start a long day of hiking.
Most importantly, our host, Niki, went out of her way to make sure we had a great experience. Recommending that we take a hiking tour with Visistmeteora and then loaning us a hiking trail map for our additional two days. She even arraigned to have our bags dropped in downtown for us to pickup for our evening train.
Note - it is located a 10 - 15 minute walk outside of the town center but we enjoyed the extra exercise after eating well each evening.
A stay at Iridanos will definitely ensure a memorable experience in this beautiful place!

We selected the hotel because it list free self parking as an amenity. However, it means you have to park along the road outside the hotel...not within hotel compound.
The hotel itself looks like a multi room mansion that lends it a homely feel. No lounge or lobby. There's tables for dining as you enter and reception desk at the other end (6m-7m away). Check in was prompt.
Breakfast was pretty decent with lots of bread, butter, jam, cheese, boiled egg, orange juice and tea / coffee.
Room itself was a bit cramped for 3 person with limited storage space. Bathroom was small but not the smallest we've been. Kettle to make coffee / tea was appreciated as some hotels we stayed in Greece did not provide this.
It snowed the next morning we were there. This made for a nervous drive up Meteora to see the monasteries. However, it made the scene surreal and great setting since it's near Christmas. There's a restaurant next door but if you want options then need to drive about 1-2 km to Kalampaka town.

Right at the foot of the road to Meteora. Beautifully appointed comfortable room. Far enough from the bustle and hustle of activity on Main Street Kalambaka so it was quiet. Nicky, our host was warm and accommodating. The feel was homey but the staff was professional. Numerous options for breakfast to satisfy any eater. Easily the finest Accomodation in Meteora, and the same family runs panellilion, also the best restaurant. They will take good care of you.

This was such a comfortable, spotless facility. Not a thing was out of place...beautifully designed and cared for. The owners couldn’t be more pleasant and their restaurant in town is terrific. I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat.

Great guesthouse! Niki is so welcoming. We didn't arrive from Athens till really late and she waited for us.
Room is so nice and clean; had a balcony with a great view. We felt like we were staying at my cousins place it was so warm! Easy access to get in and out. Parking right outside the guesthouse.

Hotel was close to town of Kalambaka but on outskirts of town. Very peaceful even though hotel is on a busier road. Very easy access to monasteries from hotel location. The hostess was very helpful and was always available to answer our questions. Breakfast was more than we expected for a continental breakfast and was delicious.

Hotel Iridanos is a gem. It's real nice, the hosts are great, the room are luxurious and breakfast is vast. though less suitable for Vegans :)
The location is a bit far from the center but a walk around Meteora is in reach quickly.
