The room was dated with a large sliding bathroom/toilet door that was ill fitted and offered minimal privacy.
Room was very cold upon arrival and the heater was very difficult to operate as the viewing screen was almost impossible to read unless being held next to a bright light. And then it took a long time to start working. The bathroom only had a shower curtain not a screen and again it felt dated.

Our room was very.nice,the bed was comfortable the crockery and cutlery were lovely and clean. We were close to the shopping and was able to find nice eating places. It was very quiet. I would recommend this property to my friends.

Easy access. Nice big parking area in front of the rooms. Room wasnt huge but enough room to be comfortable and the heater worked well.

This property is very convent for our functions we attend in Robe

The motel was great although I was confused on arrival. As an international visitor, I only had access to the internet via WiFi. When I arrived, the office was closed. I didn’t know what room I had or how to access it. It was only when I found a local free WiFi that I could access my emails and see the room number I had been allocated and that the room had been left open for me. This isn’t an issue, but please hilight this on the booking page to avoid the issue I had. Thanks

Because the hotel had limited reception times and I arrived quite late, I got a good instruction through text message how to check in. Very nice room on an excellent location. Enjoyed a good dinner to the Swan next doors.

Guichen Bay Motel was perfect for a 2 night stay. Exactly what we needed. It was clean, serviced daily, with towels and linen provided. It was a trouble free experience. Would stay there again.

Fantastic location, very central. While no reception is on site they are quite accessible and quick to respond. Room was smaller than expected. A week’s stay felt like a long time to not receive any house keeping service beyond change of towels and removal of rubbish.

Great unit in Robe. Walk to all shops, Bay and coastal walk. Weather was wet and windy but room was warm. Unit had an air conditioner, microwave, mini fridge and kettle and was freshly refurbished. There is no reception but a code is sent to get into the room so was no problem.

Rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable. Despite having a lot of travellers in, noise was very minimal and location is perfect - so close to Robe's main street with shops and cafes/dining options. Highly recommend!

They have recently renovated so the place looks pretty good. The staff has been helpful and friendly. The best thing is the location of the motel is conveniently close to all the restaurants and shops yet tucked away from the main street, so it is quiet.
The one concern we had for our room was the door. A couple of times after we locked the room door, we found that we couldn't unlock it. It took a bit of fiddling around (and a bit of strength) to unlock the door and got me a bit worried.

We've stayed at the Guichen Bay Motel several times, but this time we missed our usual warm reception, because there was no reception! I used my card to reserve the room online, but wanted to pay cash upon arrival and didn't have that option. Our room was clean and comfortable, I shall return if I can pay cash next time.
