Old & dated rooms , clean enough tho

It was lovely to return to the Winery after several years. The grounds continue to be charming. However, my room had certainly seen "better days". Thankfully the spa was in excellent working condition, though! I hope that this and other spaces can be spruced up to return the SFW to its former glory.

Sometimes other guests can be fairly rowdy and don't seem to be asked to be reasonable in living areas.

We celebrated our 34th Wedding Anniversary at St Francis Winery. The Staff were lovely and our room clean. The Pool was great. Thank you. We will come back for a 3rd time.

Room is clean but the water in the shower is terrible. The pressures is bad and the temperature is just as bad, hot is just hot, mix it with cold is just cold water is coming out from the shower head. Can't mix it together.

The grounds are pretty and the venue is conveniently located. The room was big and spacious however it had a smell about it the second you walked in. Cleaning questionable. Old and rundown, spa bath the size of a jellybean, definitely not for more than one person. Restaurant had no vegetarian options. Definitely not the worst but unfortunately wouldn't call it more than average and we definitely will not return.

It is a beautiful old building in desperate need of a revamp - eg the cabinet in our room was rotting at the base !
The staff obviously work hard to keep the rooms clean but are let down by the building’s condition.

Our family had a beautiful time at St. Francis. The kids particularly love the indoor heated pool and the ducks in the pond. It is a quiet place and also has great accessibility to shops. Will definitely stay again next time :)

We had 1 night in a spa room and the room was clean spacious and the bed was comfortable and the shower and spa very good. Staff were pleasant and our meal in the restaurant was nice with a great range of local wines to choose from.

Room was clean, bit outdated. Reasonably quite considering it backed on to a major road. Restaurant was handy, good food. Good off-street parking.

Clean and quiet, coming from the country we struggle sleeping with traffic noise but there was none. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again!

For the price it was fine. Would have been great in its hey day. Nice big room, really comfy bed, plenty of toiletries. Would have been nice to have a microwave. I haven't been in a motel room that hasn't had one.

Just had a weekend hear as soon as we arrived at reception the staff were amazing helpful and funny it was such a nice easy going place. The room was clean and quite big. Had everything we needed
We had dinner there on the second night and was recommended by the wonderful staff the roast or the snitzel that was easy fixed I had the lamb roast my partner got the beef snitzel and omg did not disappoint absolutely loved it definitely will eat there again and omg they make a great cappuccino. We will definitely be back had a great stay. 😊😊 cheers from jody and Tammy 😊😊

My over night stay was excellent. Spacious room with loads of tea, coffee and hot choc and even biscuits. It has been awhile since I have had these in a room, it used to be common practice. The bathroom is also well stocked with shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and soap. An affordable priced hotel and nice staff.
