Our 4th stay at this lovely smaller Hotel which I consider my 2 nd home in Thailand. It’s all about the very serviceminded staff everywhere, the good breakfast and the quite area at night times. We highly recommend it.

Good check in, bedroom condition was brilliant, cleanliness was excellent throughout the hotel. Service was just ok, and they didn’t do anything outstanding. Breakfast was underwhelming and fairly limited choice but what they did have was good.

The window is way too dirty and was a big turn-off.
The hotel room had too many mosquitoes and had to buy a repellent for the room; I still got so many bites over the stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff was pleasant and the restaurant food was good. The location worked out great easy walking distance to everything. Or super easy to catch a grab. We left from here to a 5 star hotel in Phuket and prefer this one instead. They are doing a great job and would recommend staying here.

Extremely nice staff. They found out it was my birthday and when i returned to my room, there was an individual chocolate cake on my desk with a card. I found that very thoughtful of them and appreciated it very much. The hotel is beautiful with well-appointed , comfortable accommodation. The restaurant and breakfast options are somehow limited , but there's enough to eat, and servers were always very accommodating and polite. I would definetly stay there again eventhough i never received any of the VIP perks I should have according to my travel app.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The only problem i had was i couldn't access wifi for the better part of one day during my 7 days here. I would definitely stay here again.

Although I changed room 2 times during the 5 days stay period because of booking and technical problems respectively, I still enjoyed my stay there.

The hotel is on a quiet street. Within 10 min walk to the Tha Phea old city and nearby night markets. We had a grand deluxe room which was big and clean. Breakfast was decent. Great value for money for a 4-star hotel in a good location.

This place is wonderful! The room was well stocked, clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was ok, more convenient than anything. The pool is refreshing and clean, as well as the bar area around it very nicely kept and relaxing. And the spa- do yourself a favor and book a treatment. It was the best.
Everything was very walkable and even had the famous Roti lady stationed at the end of the alleyway (our nightly stop!) We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My room is ok but aircon broke down on my last evening. Hotel receptionist asked me to switch room to next door. When I check out on Mon 28 Aug, they claimed I took their slippers. Told the receptionist that I wore the same slipper when I switched room :). In new room, I didn't even touch any amenities etc. The new room is ok but aircon was too noisy even in 'low fan'.

Unfortunately, my stay at this hotel was not a great experience. After the first night, I noticed that I had small bites on my back, and I saw small ants in the bed. I went and told the reception to please change the sheets and spray the area. The next night was worse and I had several more bites on my back and my arms

Everything about our stay was great! Staff was very nice, it’s in a convenient location and it was quiet and very charming. I’d come back! I also got the best Thai massage there :)

Overall it's a good hotel for the price. I can recommend it. Clean, very good location, nice breakfast, friendly staff and good massage services.
Negatives:
- The wifi connection was bad, it did not work from our room on fifth floor.
- The air conditioner is noisy even in the low speed.
- The shower heat wasn't easy to adjust with the handle, either too cold or too hot.

What a wonderful experience we had at De Chai Colonial Hotel. The staff were very helpful and attentive. The breakfast was quite good. They helped arrange an elephant sanctuary tour that was unforgettable. Rooms were comfortable and clean, well appointed. Would definitely recommend staying there!

Because it is relatively small, hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful; teaching me how to use Grab and answered to many detail questions. Breakfast is ok but it became rather boring during my 4days stay, so room for improvement.

I've stayed in many hotels (in over 60 plus countries) and de chai colonial is defintely in my top 3. The staff are super helpful and always happy to accommodate my requests. The rooms are clean, the location is convenient and I cannot say enough about the staff- they're lovely and happy to call anywhere for me. I highly recommend this place.

Town and night market, both in walking distance,. Nice and verry friendly staff ( receiption staff is sometimes a bit too much with their cell phones). Verry refreshing pool
