Enjoyable stay, front desk personnel were super friendly and accommodating of the details of our stay. Linens were clean, and the room quiet. Price was a little high, but then again Taylor Swift was in town so I’m sure lodging demand was high.

The cost of this Motel is definitely due to the location in Horseshoe Bay and not the amenities. It is very convenient for the ferry and for nearby Sea Dragon Charters, and close to numerous restaurants. The motel furnishing were a little old, but generally clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful and allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours before and after our stay, while we did other things.

For almost $400/night you have to phone for check in.(no one at the front door- it was locked). No ice for clients. Shower leaked water that extended to the door of the bathroom and shower grout was very mouldy especially at the bottom of the shower. The lady that was eventually at the desk was very pleasant and helpful. She let us in early as it was raining and we were on motorcycles….thank you for that!

Horseshoe Bay is a unique part of the world. Excellent area for wildlife, seals fish, jelly fish. Fishing boat rentals and transport. Docks, RCM-SAR, Parks and Public areas clean and excellent Amenities. BC Ferries Port to Vancouver Island, Naniamo.

Be aware that the motel does not have air conditioning. There was a fan but it just moved around the hot air. Even after it cooled down outside, we had a hard time sleeping because the room was too warm.

Very soft beds, paper thin walls, carpet throughout room was very old and felt dirty. There was a window on the door that allows a lot of natural light to come in. Terrible value for the price I paid. Check in and out went very well and the receptionist was very nice.

This is an older property typical of a small tourist village with limited space for growth. The rooms were clean and right next to the main "downtown" where there are plenty of food and gift opportunities. Two blocks from the harbor. Very friendly staff.

Comfortable, though I did not feel very safe. Upon check-in, I was told that my rez was different than what I needed ... many times, which freaked me out until my rez was finally found!

Do not go there if you do not need to. Go to Van north. More expensive than our stay in Whistler and the Fairmont in YVR. Sheets not clean, duvet was stained, old pizza slice in the upper drawer, carpet was dirty, fridge smells bad, the bathroom mug holder dirty, not a nice bed. No aircon. All in all a bad and expensive experience.

I called 2.5 days before check in to cancel, but was told I had to call a full 3 days before or fully pay. I found this an extremely poor policy when most other hotels have a 24 hour cancellation policy. I will not book again at this place

Very near the ferries (you can watch them come and go) located in a very quaint village. The facilities are very clean, the bed comfortable and there's a beautiful view of the bay and the mountains behind it from the window and outside walkway. Convenient to walk around with a liquor store, bakery, gift shop and lots of food choices for dining.
