The most beautiful room with every comfort.
But:
Beautiful outdoor pool closed, and small indoor one you had to pay for so we paid to use the hotel next door indoor & outdoor pools for the same fee..

Check in, spa, restaurant and even concierge are with great great service. There are also great choices of restaurants nearby. Room is with great view - a very chill and relaxing stay!

Great hotel for the family! Wonderful beach (bring swim shoes) and great water park for the kids. We loved it and would come back! Food at the buffet was also delicious

It was very good place to stay with children. I recommend to stay at club room. Because of some merits including parking, indoor pool and tea-lounge.

Even though the breakfast system was strange and ordered during the trip to Japan, the ridiculous attitudes of allowing the Japanese to enter first and waiting unconditionally or going downstairs with low quality were very disappointing. The cleanliness and resort were good, but it was the worst travel destination for breakfast.

One receptionist said she couldn’t provide me a bottle of water because I had just checked out already. I was holding a child in my arms and she told me to go buy by myself. How mean it was for a “kid-friendly” hotel.

Very comfortable and spacious rooms. Lovely view from the balcony too. Amenities, facilities and location were great. We felt eating in the hotel was quite expensive so ate out at the plentiful restaurants nearby.

The hotel is nice with excellent sea view from balcony.
Room (especially the bathroom) is spacious. Buffet breakfast is really good (there are western buffet or Japanese style for you to choose). Lots of facilities & activities to offer, both indoor & outdoor, so no worries about the weather even if it's rain. Need to pay for 'Blue Reef' area (1,500 yen per person), but outdoor pool area (sunset garden) is free. Great location and easy to access, lots of restaurants nearby and they close pretty late (around 10-11pm). They will offer you coupon (500/ 1,000 Yen) depend on which room cleaning service you choose (ECO / No clean up), you can use the coupon in the souvenir shop inside the hotel, which offers a great variety of products and not costly (just similar price elsewhere). Highly recommended!

We stayed in the Deluxe room this time, the room is very clean and all rooms are seaview room.
The breakfast is expectional, especially the Japanese Style breakfast, they offered the entire set meal with rice and 5 dishes.
Also the Spa and Tiger beach offer the great experience and the price is fair.
I recommend to stay in this resort for more than 1 day.

Excellent hotel. The only feedback I have is about the elevators. Very big hotel so it’s easy to get lost . Maybe make an interactive app so guests can navigate without getting lost? The lady at the front gave us a map but we lost it…. Then we got lost! Besides that, everything was excellent.

There are a lot of restaurants around . I was informed that indoor swimming pool, gym and hot bath needs extra charges daily . Not good😨

Stayed 5 nights in the deluxe ocean suite. Amazing room with a great view. Service was amazing from start to finish. Biggest disappointment was the beach. The beach gets very shallow in the afternoon and there are lots of rocks which make it unsuitable for swimming.
Also marine activities are sometimes not available and a bit pricier than other places.
Outdoor pool area is nice but you have to pay extra for the cabanas.
Overall great place for a relaxing vacation but if you're someone who enjoys swimming in the ocean and lots of marine sports, then probably not the best option.

Wonderful stay at Monterey. Amazing view from hotel balcony, breakfast was great, room was spacious and clean, staff was helpful and polite. Hotel is conveniently located to many eateries at the main road. Highly recommended and hope to visit again!

We checked into our “luxury” room and it had a very bad smoke stench and after about one hour, we decided to ask the front desk for a different room. They showed us two other rooms And both had similar smells. Finally, after complaining, they moved us to another room that did Not have the smoky stink but had a nice view of a cemetery and parking lot. Not what we were expecting for $600 a night. They charge us $150 extra night for my 11-year-old daughter to stay in the room. There were absolutely no apologies given to us for the time wasted and for the bad room. We will definitely be recommending this place to anyone or going back here again. I’m a hotels.com gold member and stay in five star hotels more than 80 nights a year and this is the first bad review I’ve ever given to a hotel.

Excellent hotel with impeccable service. Onsite dining option us great, especially the japanese restaurant where we had a special course meal for 8 people in a reserved room. Would definitely come again and recommend to others. One minor downside is the breakfast place rather small and easily crowded, but you can use line app to get your waiting number in your room, minimizing wait time on site.

My stay was amazing. Every staff member was courteous, polite and go the extra mile to ensure my needs are met. They also provided the option of hotel credits in exchange of foregoing having my room made as a step to be more eco friendly. I was disappointed that the outdoor pool was closed for the season, it was something i was looking forward to.
