First, I waited 15 minutes for the check-in person (even though sign on the counter said "Be back in 5 minutes). Checked in by the most unpleasant "customer service" person - no smiles, no eye contact, grunts for language, audible sighs etc...just bad. Second, blood on pillows. Third, cigarette smoking pillow deliverer. Yup, asked for a new pillow and it was delivered by someone smoking. Door gets opened, huge cloud of smoke gets sucked into the room!! Lastly, at the front desk in the morning - no apology, nothing - just that, "housekeeping is going to get reamed."

It's a bit ran down take your own cleaning supplies not the cleanest! But for the price it's doable, can check in in the middle of the night and it's cheap!

I did not get to stay at the property because I was involved in a car crash on the way so I was not able to be at the hotel

AVOID this hotel! Their description states 24 hour lobby, however after arriving there was no one available to check us in. We waited quite a while and contacted hotels.com for assistance. Their calls were also unanswered. By the time we gave up and left there were others also unable to check in. Despite their false advertising of their services and our inability to access what we had paid for, they refused to allow hotels.com to grant a refund by simply ignoring all of their requests for contact. Terrible! Wish I could give zero stars

I had to ask for a new roll of toilet paper because the one placed was dirty. I woke up to a cockroach on the dresser. Never again in this one!

I paid for a room I did not stay in . 80.00 wasted . There was no microwave and no fridge. The security on the door had bolts that were not screwed into the door jam I was terrified to stay at this motel.

Room was disgusting, beds weren’t fresh the dresser was still dirty and sticky , the shower had open packs of soap, there was roaches, and I’ve worked in housekeeping for a total of 3 years, was the house manager also, and I KNOW when something isn’t cleaned or done right . It’s a shame.

Quiet place to stay. Every time we go to Apple Valley this is where we stay.

How are 4 adults supposed to sleep in anything smaller than that. Hotel rejected any change. The nerve to say if you don’t like it, you can leave. Worst hotel ever, don’t even waist your money.

The room was dirty. the bathroom had NO toilet paper and was not clean. the shower was the smallest I have ever seen... the security guard at night was awesome with a quick check in and friendly service but over all its run down and gross.. the carpet was filthy and beds are hard with only 2 pillows

The rooms say non-smoking, but smell weed all over the hotel. We denied having to stay at the hotel, the manager promised a refund, but never got a refund..! Expedia did not give a refund either. No accountability what so ever. Hilltop is a good chain of hotel, I don't know how did they choose this third class motel as part of their chain. Extremely unsatisfied with Expedia and this hotel. Never stay here. Weed smell everywhere.

These people wear no mask or gloves but yet they have signs every where saying every one must wear a mask, our room lock on the door got stuck and I couldn’t get out and the front desk customer service representative wouldn’t answer the phone. I had to pry my way out this room. They sent two so called maintenance people to check it out and promise they both came to the door with no mask or gloves and we wonder why this COVID 19 thing is rising so fast in our county. The place is filthy. I had to call and force the reservation company to cancel immediately. Do yourself a favor and don’t be trick by the price add a few more dollars with and a room with good rating

BLOOD ALL OVER THE SHEETS Got tricked into this hotel over the name and the pictures on the internet. When I started to undo and pull the sheets back we found the mattress and sheets had blood on them. It was disgusting. When I told Ray, the man up front, they only offered to change the sheets. That’s all. After arguing they offered a room change. But I told them I don’t trust the quality of cleanliness. When we called Hotels.com they didn’t want to help either they later offered credit. Both just kept saying there was no refunds. There is no telling what diseases could be in that blood...Hepatitis, HIV...and they could care less. DO NOT STAY HERE if you can avoid it. And be aware Hotels.com and the management at Hill Top will not want to help or take responsibility!
