Nice hotel and good size room. But air conditioning wasn’t working and had to be fixed, the corridors have mould and are dirty, and the carpet in the room was dirty.

During my extensive travels through Sri Lanka and India, which included stays in over 12 hotels boasting 4 and 5-star facilities, my experience at Hotel Hyatt Regency Ludhiana, Punjab, was unfortunately far from satisfactory.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by well-spoken and friendly front desk staff Komal. However, the promise of a luxurious experience quickly faded when I entered my allotted room, which was subpar even by basic standards. The room appeared neglected and poorly maintained, akin to accommodations found in a railway station rather than a reputable hotel chain like Hyatt.
After raising my concerns with the manager Rishi on duty and being promised a "better room," the subsequent room provided was marginally improved but still lacked cleanliness and attention to detail. The presence of moisture in the bedding led to discomfort for my wife, who experienced allergies necessitating medication.
Despite assurances from the manager regarding rectifying the cleanliness and drainage issues, the follow-up was lacking, with the room not being properly attended to until late afternoon. Furthermore, attempts to extend my stay were met with uncompetitive rates compared to online platforms, and the promised assistance from Mr. Ram via phone was unfulfilled.
Additionally, the property showed signs of neglect and insufficient maintenance, with visible damages throughout various areas.
In summary, my stay my stay at Hotel Hyatt Regency Ludhiana fell short of expectations.

I booked the executive suite for my brother. Him and his wife got married earlier that day. My cousin and I went to the counter 4 hours earlier to request the room be decorated with flowers, some chocolates, and champagne. The person at the counter made a phone call and then said okay it will be done. When we came to the hotel with my brother and and his wife, we got them checked in and headed to the room. They literally had put 9-10 fake leafs and 2 towels together. That is it. They didn’t put any chocolates and champagne. Extremely disappointed. The manager was ZERO help. He instead called the EMPLOYEE during her non-working hours around 1 o clock in the morning instead of taking responsibility as a manager to help resolve the issue. Terrible manager.

Possibly the worst experience I have ever had staying in any property, we constantly got given the wrong food orders and had to wait for over an hour at a time and when we ask to speak to the night manager (Rishi) he sent the head chef and was nowhere to be seen for over an hour.
On our last night my fiancé was in the room as we were going to a religious temple at 3am and again the manager (Rishi) told us we had to leave as my fiancé who was staying at her families address wasn’t carrying her visa.
We sent copies of passports but was told at midnight that security expected her to leave.
The staff are very rude and the managers are not helpful at all!!!
Avoid at any cost!!!!

Loved our stay, however, there was a fight in the lobby with one of the guests and staff, where police had to be called, other than that would definitely stay there again

This place has serious moisture issues.
Walls have lot of moisture making tiles in the bathroom de-coloration. The room was very humid we could smell mold.

The property is not cleaned properly, they will try to assign you super unclean room with stained carpet and unclean tables, so I immediately asked that the room be changed and they did so to the one with hardwood floors, Alas! The floor was not cleaned but still better. On the next day the key card was not working so had to go and get it activated. The shocking fact is that they will try to assign you the dirty rooms as default, so that they can assign the clean ones to people who complain about it, not what I expect from a 4.5 stars restaurant.

Hyatt Regency Ludhiana used to be a very good property. I have had a chance to stay at the hotel on multiple occasions, however, this time, my experience was horrible. The rooms are dirty. The carpets are super unhygienic and smell horrible. I was scared of stepping barefoot, thinking it may actually give me an infection. Also, the service was bad. I think their teams were busy with two wedding groups at the hotel, which led to a massive service quality issues. My room had no towels when I checked in. I requested front desk/housekeeping at least three times over a course of two hours for towels, which never arrived. Every time I called them, I got a response saying that a boy is already on his way with the towels. I wish I had spent my money elsewhere. Hyatt Regency Ludhiana really disappointed me, and I will think twice in future before booking the hotel.

I like the property but there is a level of unprofessionalism when it comes to some of the staff. I usually book my room for a week at a time and then extend it later. They somehow cant figure out that the same person has extended reservation again.
I had a reservation that was coming to end so i made another reservation for two more nights. I had a staff member rudely knocking my doors repeatedly on the day that my original reservation was ending despite having do not disturb sign on.
I was woken up by this rude member knocking on the door. I opened the door and he rudely says that i am suppose to be checking out but i did not check out. He made my feel like I was staying at their property despite paying. I told him that i have extended the reservation and said sorry and left.
It is so ridiculous that a hotel such as Hyatt cannot figure out that the person with the same name and address has extended their reservation. In the future i will go and tell them that i have made another reservation so they don't rudely coming knocking at the door. I am one of the property’s most loyal customers.
On the positive side, we I would like to commend Sajal and I believe is the manager at dining section. He listened to all my concerns and made the stay truly enjoyable.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and usually i have a good experience. Recently i have been noticing that the in room dining experience has been horrible. I have ordered coffee and it has shown up not hot.
I dont expect a warm coffee at the high prices. Also many times they have delayed the order so much that i have had to call them numerous times. Also they have mixed up orders where they have brought someone else’s order to my room.
The in room dining experience is making me rethink where i want to stay at the property in the future.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times in the last year. It is a very good hotel. However, i had a difference experience the last time i stayed here. The hotel front desk is extremely good and the rooms are very good.
However, the in room dining service was horrible. They were extremely late in delivering food and many times wrong order was delivered. Also the room cleaning crew was bad on some occasions such as missing room cleaning service. I hope that this is just one time issue and they will resolve it soon. I love staying at this hotel and will stay here in the future.

I am amzed that Hyatt still hasn't gone eco-friendly. Water was served in rooms in plastic bottles which is a rare find these days when even 3- star hotels are seen using glass bottles.
All toileteries are still in plastic packaging.
Staff was friendly but there was a huge delay in response rate from reception (maybe they are short of staff)
Dine in experience was quite friendly and I was happy with overall experience there.i want to personally call out Shivangi from dining area, she was very friendly and was prompt to our requests.

Property is extremely good considering it is in Ludhiana. The breakfast is excellent and the staff is unbelievably good. It is the only place I would stay in Ludhiana. It is the only place that lives up to international standards.
