The lady in the breakfast area, I believe her name was Geraldine. Was a very pleasant person, I hope the hotel recognizes her professional attitude and one day rewards her for it. We saw the difference when she wasn’t there one day. The property was well kept and quiet.

Pleasantly surprised with the appearance. The images online seem to be older. Felt very comfortable and at home. The only complaint would be the humid hallways and a few strands of hair left in the bathroom. I only stayed for one night while taking an exam in the area.

Everything was great. The room was clean. The eating area was clean. The only thing is this hotel really needs to be updated. The drapes were stained, didn't even want to touch him.The bed was saggy.I couldn't get rest. The mattress needs to be replaced and the drapes, and just like updated a little bit.

Linda at checkin was wonderful. Lady who tended to breakfast was very nice. Staff was helpful and friendly. Not sure what is meant by Eco-friendliness, but saw no indicators of this hotel being eco-friendly. Will stay here again if ever in Albany.

I was getting dressed to attend my graduation. The bed frame was not in place. As I walked past the end of the bed, my leg was cut a a large gash is there. I bled profusely. I called my daughter in the other room I purchased and asked her to go get a bandage. She thought the mosquito bites I had were bleeding. I went downstairs and showed the receptionist the pictures of the blood running down my ankle and the bloody tissue and I made an incident report. I am going to make an appointment with my Dr. to make sure things are ok. My tetanus shot is updated but I'm not sure if there is something else I need to do. I am in pain right now but it is the holiday. OTHER than that, my arrival the receptionist was amazing and the staff was awesome. (I'll always be careful to check bed railings now). Thank you.

Comfortable and good. Door to bathroom needs to be changed and chalking redone. Front desk had ran out of complementary water.

Great service

Checkin was a breeze. Nice staff. It wasn’t crowded and noisy is what I liked most. I didn’t like that it was hot in the elevator and in the hallways to my room area.

The stay was comfortable and relaxing. Staff was frienly.

The pictures on the website were incorrect. The site shows a sleeper sofa but the room didn’t have one. The staff were able to change our room though. Hotel.com please reflect accurate pictures for each room type. I was told the hotel’s general manager contacted the site many times to have the oictures updated, but to no avail.

Staff very friendly Good coffee and breakfast. Hair was in my shower and some towels had hair woven into it from other guest. I felt the need to wipe down toilet, sink and was weary about towels. The remote was GROSS and needed wipes to get the stickiness off. Yuck. Pool towels are awful. No water in gym. Bed very comfortable.

Affordable, clean property close to dining options and shopping

Cons: In town for an event. Arrived at property at 5pm, two hours after check-in. Had reserved a suite via Expedia. Upon arrival was told suite wasn’t ready, so I gladly waited for the desk and housekeeping to communicate the need and the fact that customer was in the lobby waiting. While waiting I also observed a similar situation with another guest, waiting on a double king, who had been waiting about an HOUR! They offered him a single double bed, he declined! Also during my wait I witnessed a guest with no reservations walk in, check into a double queen room and Go on his way. We were the only 3 guests! They were NOT busy. I waited another 15 min before being my room still wasn’t ready and “I’m sorry for your wait”. The staff was very kind! At that time I offered to downsize my reservation to a double bed room, I had an event to get to. I asked what the difference (decrease) in cost would be, I was told they couldn’t adjust the price due to 3rd party booking. Um, no ma’am - I’m NOT paying $200 for a $125 room!! I’ll wait! Miraculously we got into a double queen room at the double queen rate! Pros: The staff was genuinely kind and apologetic, not sure where the ball got dropped on having the proper rooms ready in a timely manner. The indoor heated pool was great, clean, warm and very enjoyable! The breakfast was hot and plentiful. It’s still a hotel breakfast, so basic. Delicious otherwise. Check-out process was seamless. I would stay again.

This hotel was one of the best I have stayed in and a great price. The rooms are a nice size and very clean. All of the staff are kind and helpful, offering any assistance needed. I will be returning for another stay

The young lady at the front desk was so kind and welcoming. She took us to see the room first and was very professional. We checked in on Saturday night and check out Monday morning. All has been quiet and everyone helpful. Room is clean. Bathroom could use a little TLC around the edges, but clean and comfortable. I was concerned about this booking, but I have been pleasantly surprised! Great service and clean space show someone cares about the job they do and that goes a long way today.

Staff was excellent except the lady doing the breakfast wasn't very friendly.

I enjoyed my stay all except my pillows were too soft and I tossed and turned all night trying to get comfortable.

Good Hotel. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast seemed limited but was hot and tasty. Coffee maker was broken so had to use machine in room. Also one room of three didn’t have hand soap and front desk had trouble finding some. Staff were pleasant and as helpful as possible. I would stay again but would ask a few questions before arriving.
