An absolutely awesome place! A real oasis of loveliness and calm - you can really relax here. The staff are all really friendly and the facilities are excellent.

long way off of the main road..5 miles I think. And, the road is not the best... I almost turned around... Once we arrived, our stay was great. very quiet. place was clean.

Rooms are great. Very well equipped especially bathroom and outlets for chargers. Food great for foodies (like me) as recipes were creative and delicious. Menu needs more simple (“normal”) items. Parking ok for most units but not ours! If you are in areas C and W you probably have to park far away. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. What upset me most was a hotel van driver who happened to be in front of me driving from Yosemite village all the way to the lodge and had to drive very slowly in spots. Not once did driver pull aside to let me pass. Also we asked for room to be cleaned but this didn’t happen. Hence 4 star instead of 5 star rating.

A wonderful stay at Evergreen lodge. All of the staff are super friendly. Staying here makes Yosemite feel 10x more magical than it already is.

We planned a family trip to Yosemite and couldn't have been happier with our choice to stay at the Evergreen Lodge! The cabins are nestled around the wooded grounds with plenty of privacy, the recreation room and various outdoor playgrounds were a big hit with the kids (young and old) and the food at the restaurant was delicious. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. I would highly recommend the Evergreen Lodge to any families heading to Yosemite.

What a great place to stay! Customer service excellent! We had our own quiet cabin, with easy walks up to the store for food. Comfy bed, deck, beautiful grounds. Very clean. A few irritations - the tiny refrigerator froze all my veggie and cheese snacks, as well as our sodas. And the 6.7 mile road to get to the lodge turnoff was really rough. Although it's not the Lodge's responsibility, we went to Yosemite park 3 days, and back, so the road was not something to look forward to. Perhaps they can get the county to do some repaving?

Staff and overall services were Excellent. Their restaurant had a limited selection of meals but what meals they did have were delicious. I highly recommend the cottage cabin, plenty of room for my husband and I. Very pleased with our week stay.

The best experience at Evergreen! If you want to connect with nature, feel the peace and quiet of Yosemite at a beautiful lodge, this is the place to stay at. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive. Different ammenities and activies available at the property and family friendly. Will definitely be back!

Great spot outside of Yosemite! Lots to do in the resort area and everyone was nice and helpful.

The dining was very convenient. The pool was great. Light music was wonderful on labor day special. Kids playarea and recreation center were wonderful. Overall great experiance.

We absolutely loved our time at Evergreen Lodge Yosemite!

This was a good place to disconnect from the world. We had an Alexa for music but no TV in the cabin. The cabin was big and clean. The pool area was my favorite. BBQ by the pool for dinners. The rec center was helpful. We had a guide named Bailey who was excellent for a day trip.

Lots of things to do on and off property though we would recommend booking in advance by calling them up specially for Yosemite bus tour. The swimming pool area is awesome with dining option and great view

Very lovely lodge and have a lot of activities

The Evergreen lodge is located in a secluded forest and has great facilities. We had a very nice and tranquil stay there with easy access to Yosemite park. The team is also very polite and helpful, we would definitely stay there again.

Stayed in tent area as rest of family stayed up the street at Camp Mathus. Tents very close together, could hear all conversations and other body noises. Bathroom was heavily used and not clean. Floors of bathroom often flooded and stalls were out of toilet paper. Wi-Fi was not consistent throughout property. Cost for what you get was very high. I would not return, but other choices are far away. It may be worth the drive. Positives included pretty grounds and many activities. Food was good.

Loved the amenities for kids - pool, playground, rec room and crafts.

The website is not very clear. The address is Groveland but it’s 30 miles away and very remote. There’s just one restaurant and no kitchenettes. Sign says to save water but the shower takes too long to heat up. The property is very tranquil but just know it’s remote with nothing nearby.

Excellent set up and location just outside Yosemite NP. We stayed in the tents which were very good, although the mattress wasn’t exactly ideal. Facilities were fantastic, between the shop, restaurants and evening entertainment. Prices were expensive for the BBQ, though don’t believe there was a limit on what you could get. Would happily use the camp site again.

Such a wonderful and special place!

I chose custom camping at this property for it's proximity to the hetch hetchy reservoir and route 120 through the east to mono lake, and honestly location-wise its unbeatable if you want to drive through the whole park, compare to staying south near oakhurst. Camp site is clean, so is the shared bath house. People do have respect and clean after themselves. Be noted that ur not allowed to have fire/cook at the camp site (although i did see a few campstoves around), but i chose to just respect the rules because u can easily drive a few minutes to a picnic site or scenic area off property to cook/grill all you want. Bar is excellent. You can get essentials at the general store. Overall im glad i chose to stay here for backpacking through the area. Sure u get more choices if u stay in the cities outside of the south entrance, but if u want the entire park within a 90 drive, this is the spot.

Nice place very well located inside the park. Consider 1-1.5 hours drive to be in the valley or other interesting places. The lodge is nice, we staye on a family tent, cleanliness in the bathrooms very poor.

the overall essence was very comforting. most amenities were very handy.
