The physical appearance of the hotel is very likable. My room and bathroom were very nice but i would give 7 out 10 points or 3 stars out of 5 for the following reason: it's very customary now a days to find in the room a bottle of water, and a tea/coffee maker. In many hotels they have a station with water, tea and coffee for the guests. This hotel gives you zero, nothing, du rien, nada, nule... In my case after a River Cruise I stayed 5 nights in different cities I was visiting and in ALL, i repeat again, ALL, i received a bottle of water, tea and coffee maker, a candy or chocolate. In my case after all this traveling and not a very good weather I had a little cold and the last thing I wanted to do was to go shopping for water or tea. When I went to their restaurant to have dinner, of course, I ordered the tea. I was expecting to see a little jar with enough hot water and the bag of tea. I had to ask the waiter to refill the cup to bring it to my room to finish with my tea. When i was going up to my room with my tea he wasn't very happy and asked me for the number of my room. I felt very uncomfortable. So, the impression i got from this hotel is that they are not very generous. Would i come back again there? Maybe well equipped with water and the tea/coffee maker. In other words, NO, because for me generosity and kidness make me feel welcomed. Read my following review about the Petit Oberkampf in Paris, where I'm at this moment,10 stars if no more and we'll deserved!!

Excellent base of operations for exploring Normandy. Clean friendly service. Amazing food! Best steak we ate the entire time in Normandy.
Staff speaks some English, some shifts. Tourists who are respectful and learn a few words in French will be fine.
Check in and check out are same as English. Just like futbol.

Hotel was a 15 minute walk from the train station. Flat terrain. Quick check in. Very comfortable bed, no air conditioning, but there was a fan. Our room was on first floor and overlooked a parking area which was quite noisy around midnight. No tea and coffee facilities in room. Lovely breakfast and also had a very nice dinner there one night. We felt not a lot of eating choices in the town. Easy one hour walk to Monet's garden across the bridge and along Seine biking/walking path.

The welcome was good, the evening staff were great, welcoming and fun, the breakfast staff were grumpy.
The outside space seating was not particularly comfortable. Overall considering some ‘good’ reviews we were underwhelmed.
The signs in the bedrooms regarding pricing of items etc if removed were rather aggressive!
All in all sadly rather mixed feelings from us….

very good value for money and 10 minutes from Giverny / Mont gardens. Local restaurant Quatore XiV is excellent and 8 minutes away by foot. Room didn't have AC or a coffee machine, and shower was not enclosed (was part of open shower/bathroom/toilet). Still, for that price and a one night stay it was a very good deal. Very helpful staff.

A perfect spot to stop before or after a trip to Monet's Gardens. The room was comfortable - good size for even U.S. properties. It is nicely located with central parking underneath for security,loading and unloading. People are wonderful and very helpful.

This hotel is a great option for a quick trip to Giverny. It's about a 15 minute drive. The town of Vernon is clean and walkable. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. They did not let us check in early without paying a lot more. It would have been nice to get in just an hour earlier as I had been traveling for 24 hours, but the other places we stayed were much more flexible. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. I would stay here again.

Really nice and unexpectedly and pleasantly surprised to find it is better than its 3 star rating. Huge room, nice king size bed and weird setup with toilet in a separate space far away, on the other end of the room away from sink and shower, but this seems common in Normandy hotels we have stayed. Also the first hotel we saw here to have an iron and ironing board!

The staff especially the front desk personnel were wonderful and extremely friendly. Barbara is a star employee she actually carried my husband’s 60 lbs bag up the stairs for him as the elevator was not working. Her hospitality made our visit very fun and comfortable. The location was perfect for our visit to Monet’a Garden.

I am afraid my review is somewhat complicated. I did not care for the size or design of our room. It was small and angular (low ceilings in both our room and hallways. The picture attached to this review looks nothing like our room did). In the future I will pay more attention to room size and configuration. Other than the room, everything was excellent- the dining area served good food, and people at the registration desk were very friendly,

Overall, room was OK, but very dark. Not much light in the bathroom either. No AC and only a small table fan, not very effective. Parking was provided and hotel is conveniently located in town center.

A fabulous stay! The hotel is clean, comfortable and located in the center of town. Only a 15 minute walk from the train station. There is also a nice restaurant and bar at the hotel as well.
