My wife and I had a fantastic few days here. Everything was superb! Will definitely be back.

Absolutely stunning property with the most lovely staff! We stayed here for 3 nights on our honeymoon and wish we could have stayed more. The breakfast was EXCELLENT, the hotel was gorgeous with a beautiful pool. We were able to do the horseback riding with Sara who made a first timer feel very comfortable, do a wine tasting with Lorenzo who was charming and so fun, and get a massage and enjoy the steam room. The front desk staff was super helpful and helped plan our stay weeks before we even arrived and made suggestions and reservations for us all throughout. We were also lucky enough to meet GG (who may be the manager or guest relations) who looked out for us during our entire stay and showed us around the gorgeous property. We cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Everything was great. Only one wish that more food choices on the menu for both restaurants.

Good experience on second night as well, we extended our stay last minute and the hotel staff was able to let us keep our room which was great.

Hotel is great, we did several trails around the property - beautiful! Breakfast and lunch was good. We did have the bigger room (900 sq ft) so it was quite spacious. Bathroom could be a bit cleaner. Dinner was not great and quite over priced for what it was (we had some starters and pasta). We also tried pastas at lunch and those were great (different menu). we were offered champagne before we looked at the menu (25 euros per person), and we asked for some Brunello without looking at the menu which we were charged about 25 euros per person too. The pool looked amazing, it was a bit chilly outside so we couldn’t use it. Overall great experience minus the over priced and not super flavorful dinner!

We were looking for an idyllic Tuscan getaway and Borgo Pignano delivered. The building and surrounding grounds are picturesque, encompassing historic buildings. What made our stay unique was the homey atmosphere and personal touch. We were personally welcomed by the General Manager, and the staff made extra effort to make a personal connection. The approach of the property is to recreate a home away from home (if you’re a wealthy villa owner with a full set of staff ha!) with an abundance of cozy common areas, limited signs, and a strong emphasis on sustainable, natural, and homemade products. The views are divine. We stayed at the beginning of April, shortly after the property opened for the season. As such, there was a nice, small group of guests and it was very quiet. Additionally, this meant the pool (so gorgeous!) was closed - they were prepping it for opening later in the month. Special shoutouts to the restaurant manager and front desk staff for being friendly, personable and helping us feel at home. The breakfast spread (included) is wonderful and full of items grown or homemade on the property. Note, two restaurants are available and the prices are not for travellers on a budget. We dined one evening in a room with a communal table and open fireplace but were disappointed with the food for the price point. This, I’d say, was the only blip in our stay. Stay here for a luxurious, yet homey getaway in Tuscany that is a destination in and of itself!

Absolutely beautiful property, excellent facilities and friendly staff. It’s the type of place you never want to leave. Beautiful views with quiet areas poolside or elsewhere to relax.

Our favorite part of our Italy vacation was the pasta making class and wine tasting. The property was beautiful. My 2 complaints was the air conditioning in our room was super loud and fluctuated in noise and the antique doors are loud and slam which made it difficult to sleep at night

Great base to explore from or to stay and forget the world. Staff cannot do enough to be of service. Can see why many return again and again.

Planning for a genuine experience of Tuscany we headed there and got all that we have dreamed of. Excellent restaurant as well!

The villa and the grounds are stunning. Guests were allowed to roam and explore both freely. There was always a sense of magic and wonder behind each door! The staff are professional and attentive and the rooms are cleaned twice a day. It was very relaxing and comfortable. Some of the facilities were sadly not available during our stay. We had also tried to book a cooking class but were told by the receptionist that we were not able to taste or eat what we made during the class ie it was purely a cooking class. Not sure if this a communication error but we found that quite odd and were put off by it. Half the point of cooking is eating it afterwards. Another small gripe is the lack of free coffee and tea facilities made to guests. It stood out particularly because the tea ordered on several occasions was made with lukewarm water and the coffee order was wrong each time. we still had a wonderful time nonetheless.
