Breakfast bar was much better than most. Waitress was very nice & helpful.

The gentleman who Checked us in was exceptional!

Staff was very accommodating and helpful when our first room smelled like cigarette smoke. They did switch us when the hotel was quite full so that was much appreciated. The rooms though need a refresh. They were worn, drab, and not quite up to Hilton par.

This is a nice place where we have stayed before. Friendly staff, clean, good foid and bar options, great location, lots of parking, etc. Tbis time, i would offer one negative comment. The lawn care (mowers and weed eaters) commenced at 7:30 AM and was loud. Not every guest is a business travaler and up at that time. We were on vacation and certainly did not want to arise then. Would suggest the property have the lawn care crew start a bit later in the morning. Otherwise, a very good place.

The hotel and staff were excellent. The room was wonderful and the views were great.

Some of the staff was a little rude. No one came to clean the room.

Not happy with my experience at this hotel. I booked with hotels.com and after arriving for check-in at midnight I am told I only have one room booked when I booked two. Clerk seemed irritated that I used a third party. Showed her a copy of my reservation but to no avail. So I paid for an additional room then after calling hotels.com I am told the reservation was sent under two names. So how am I supposed to know that when I booked both rooms under my name and paid for both. So now I am likely not getting a due refund. On top of all this I was bitten all over the lower half of my body by bed bugs. Beyond livid.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was fantastic. The room was extremely clean. I have a service dog. When we checked in the staff was really great with my dog. They gave her a toy and a bag of treats. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Thank you

Needed a room for 2 plus dog near the Blue Ridge Pkwy. The surprise charge of $75 (plus tax) for bringing our dog is NOT dog-friendly! This was our last stop on a 6-week road trip, and by FAR the most we had to pay to bring the pooch along (most properties charged $25 or less). In general, this hotel was very opaque about their charges. My credit card alerted me of two more charges after we checked in (after paying the base rate for the room when booking with Expedia). When I asked for an itemized bill, the nice woman at the desk was unable to enlighten me about what the charges (and a credit) were for. Given this, we worried about whether the wifi was complimentary. We kept being asked to join Hilton Honors when we tried to log on. Trying to call the front desk, we got a busy signal over and over again. So we gave up getting online. At checkout, I was told that we were supposed to get a special code from the hotel, but that was not part of the instructions on the sheet we received with our room keys.

I liked the staff and the atmosphere at the hotel. There was supposedly free continental breakfast but I got charged $9 for it.

The lady at the desk was very nice and helped us out for much. She was very helpful even with some of the computers down.

We had a problem checking in; the system was down and my credit card was declined like 6 times as I was trying to pay the $25 incidentals bill. Took me 20 minutes--finally the nice buy at the desk gave up and let me go up to my room. The personnel were very knowledgeable and nice. It left a bad taste in my mouth, though, when I went to warm up my daughter's waffle and found a box of old food in the microwave.

The property was very nice and the staff was extremely friendly and professional however considering the size of the facility I was very disappointed that there was limited handicap parking on the property. There was no handicap parking at all in the front of the building. Management should consider making changes to accommodate people with disabilities.
