We have stayed here many times. The property has not changed it is clean comfortable and safe. The staff has always been super friendly and very helpful

we came up to Maine for a relaxing weekend. It was a lot of driving so we asked where we could find a little restaurant possibly pub. Front desk didn't know the area very well and told us to go in the completely wrong direction into abandon warehouses area of town. Getting to the hotel we passed tons of abandoned warehouses on the other side of town and people pushing shopping carts begging at our window, woman was even soliciting us from the side of the road just before we got to the hotel got to the hotel in the bathroom did not work woman at the front desk said she sent somebody up it flushed but could not flush a piece of tissue down the toilet continued we had to constantly go down to the lobby to use the bathroom. She said she was sorry that the toilet and bathroom was having issues . But the woman downstairs and the other part of the hotel told us it is most of the hotel that has plumbing issues. It was pretty disgusting not worth the money that we spent. Ripped off actually

The parking was a little sparse. The hotel was very nice and new.

The room was very clean and spacious. It is in an up and coming area so there are a few dining options in old mill buildings you can walk to. Parking can be tight but there is additional space across the way.

This was an ok hotel. On arrival one employee was busy with a client on phone and many employees were in rear and a computer had to be started up to check in causing a slight delay. Room was spacious but a stain on carpet looked like milk or some white substance seemed could have been steamed out. Beds clean and comfortable. Traffic noise was constant on non-river side (perhaps river facing would be more relaxing). Staff seemed friendly and responsive. Small indoor pool and gym. The walking path by the river and veterans memorial park were lovely.

Loved the hotel and the staff, all the amenities were great, but the location was a bit rough. Homeless sleeping all around this place and hanging about the parking lots, with garbage and items just scattered everywhere. There is a beautiful military memorial across the street though with nice views of the river and falls and various army vehicles on display and plaques ect…

This is my 3 here and for the most part it is clean and the staff is friendly. They are under construction right now and from what I see the renovations are going to be nice!

Very accommodating.

I judge hotel rooms partly by how dark they get. Our room failed this test. There clearly had been automatic windows shades but they were all missing and had been replaced with pull down blinds that were too narrow, had rips in them, and didn't block all that much light. Other than that the room was spacious and clean. The facilaties were otherwise fine, except the pool which was so dirty we went back upstairs rather than risk it. We didn't get to try the breakfast but it looked fine. The staff seemed helpful and parking though initially confusing was plentiful. If you are in the area and have time, try the nearby Maine Mill Museum.

Nice staff, but thin walls! There was round the clock construction done by the city even through the night, which made sleep almost impossible.

Scott at check in was very friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Toby, the maintenance person was also very friendly and was always working and cleaning. He also found me to let me know one of the kids had left an expensive pair of goggles down at the pool, and took the time to walk down and let me in after hours so I could get them.

Our stay was great we were in walking distance to baxter brewery and we had a great view of the waterfall from our room. The breakfast was awesome along with the staff would highly recommend !

Really poor snow removal services! There was an icy storm during our stay but the clearing of snow was pretty poor.

Nice, clean rooms. Great breakfast. Appreciated having a washer/dryer available.
