The motel was clean and the bed comfortable. There was a bar fridge, coffee maker and microwave and a nice area to sit. The check in went very easy. The towels were very nice! There was a bit of noise upstairs early in the morning but minor. It was within easy walking distance to dining but you could also easily bring food back to your room and there was a small table to eat at. Overall we enjoyed our stay. A beautiful town and friendly people. Would recommend the Lighthouse trail as well!

Nicely renovated rooms. Great location.

The inside of the motel has been updated and looks great. It is within walking distance to restaurants, cafes and coffee shops. The motel was safe and clean and they provide you with a fan. The person working the front desk was accommodating and nice.My only complaint was no AC.

Stayed in a nicely renovated and spacious king suite. Front desk staff were excellent. Location was central in town. Walking distance to grocery store, restaurants and harbour.

Office was locked, clerk showed up after I called. Didn't have enough glasses but they got us some.

Updated and near all of the attractions

Pleasantly surprised. Includes fridge.very clean. Slept better than expected. No waste bathroom soaps & shampoo dispensers.

Recently renovated, clean and modern. Room rates seemed a bit expensive for a pretty simple motel. Tiny kitchenette was useful but pretty limited. There’s no overhead fan for the hot plate, so you have to be careful not to set off the smoke alarm while cooking.

Overall my experience was fabulous

Close to all the food and coffee shops. Recently remodeled but still has old bones, so sounds travel easily. Avoid ground suites if possible if you don't wanna hear anyone stomping above. But nice soft bed, clean linens and excellent complimentary soaps/shampoo. Sourced from local shop

Good location, comfy bed. Quiet. Bathroom smelt like urine, new renovation in bathroom done terribly, no water pressure, big extra blanket stunk like dog. This hotel is not worth $400 night.

We stayed 5 nights at this property while exploring everything the island has to offer. The newly renovated room was great, very comfortable, and had everything we needed. We did not have maid service, however the staf were very accommodating to get us any fresh supplies that we needed. Great price, location and customer service. I will stay here again when I'm the area.

Unsure what to expect with a lower priced hotel in this area and time of year. We were pleasantly surprised - even hubby commented on appearance of room and quality of toilet paper! Recent renos for the room helped with the appearance and spaciousness. Extra pillows and towels. I was impressed that all the soaps, lotions,etc. were supplied by a local business owner. Would absolutely stay here again.

I loved the location of this property and the quietness. I do wish there was AC in our room and more lighting options but otherwise it was great. Kind staff and clean room.

This was a newly renovated motel with a fridge and dishes and coffee maker- the dishes is not something you see everyday so it’s good if you want to eat in. Parking right outside your room is handy too. Walls are thin though and you are warned not to be too noisy.

The room we stayed in was newly renovated and excellently maintained. Staff were courteous and efficient. I would definitely and easily recommend the Ukee Peninsula Hotel to others.

Room was well appointed with a large bed, sofa bed, small kitchen (pretty well stocked with necessities like plates and cutlery), bathroom and the room was newly renovated so lovely fixtures. No A/C in room but there was a tower fan and the windows opened for fresh air. The towel rack in our bathroom was broken and the tub didnt plug properly. Also i could see sunlight coming through the door frame. My favorite was there is no keys to try and remember you just get a door code that they text you so you dont need to try and remember. The staff was super friendly and you're central to pretty much everything for a completely walkable experience. The entire town is just breathtaking and i wish i could have stayed forever.
