Great location, friendly staff, nice room and would highly recommend

Assigned room had not been cleaned but staff assigned us to an upgraded room. Staff recovered. Ungraded room had two queen beds and two rockers. Room was too small for that configuration. One side of each bed was only 1foot from the wall so as an older person it made it hard and unsafe to get out on those sides of the bed. It was just my wife and I but we sleep together. The best part of the hotel was its location. Easy access to all that Downtown Blowing Rock had to offer. Major plus. We would not stay at this hotel again if we had to in room 4 again. For a mature couple if room 4 had one queen bed and the rockers for a sitting area might give it a chance based on location. Hope this helps.

Ok stay. We had a deluxe room that didn’t feel very deluxe. It was almost impossible to maintain a steady room temperature. It was either too hot or too cold. Heater was very noisy.

My previous review was only one word and misunderstood by the owner. We enjoyed our stay at The Homestead Inn. It is clean, quaint, pet friendly and within walking distance to downtown Blowing Rock.

This is a very comfortable place to stay and very affordable. If you are looking for luxury and pristine cleanliness then look somewhere else. The bed was the best one I have slept on this trip. The rooms are not very private as the walls areThin. The fan in the bathroom couldnt be used because it made so much noise. Very cute decor and a fun town to visit.

The room was small and crowded. There was no closet, just a bar on the wall. The bathroom was tiny with no storage for toiletries. The large wall mounted TV had poor sound.

Good value for the area, conveniently located, clean, friendly staff.

Clean very comfortable beds private cabin style rooms quaint beautiful landscape.friendly staff and town.unfortunaly most restaurants in town closed by covid the few open were very busy at dinner.could have saved by calling directly to the inn.the toastery restaurants had a great breakfast.

We have stayed here before, the owners are very nice people and I like to support local business when I can.

We were very uncomfortable that 30 minutes before we arrived the hotel called us and told us they would have to cancel with hotels .com and rebook through them our they would cancel our reservation. We have been loyal customers to hotels,com and they have been loyal to us. This didn’t feel right to use hotels to get bookings and then call customers right before they arrive telling them you have to book through them instead. Unfairly puts the customer in an uncomfortable position and dampens the stay.

Beautiful room, clean with a nice couple of comfortable chairs to relax in both inside and outside the room. Very pleasant person checked me in and he bent over backwards to make me welcomed and explain places to visit in the area. No breakfast at this place but lots of good coffee supplied. Nice eating facilities within easy walking distance.

The staff in a whole were so kind and accommodating. I would certainly recommend to all and will be back or tey ine of your other properties.
