This is a great spot if you are diving, but it's also great if you are just looking to relax (or have non-diving friends/family). I came for the former, and while the area is best known for the Liberty, there are many other great sites to check out. The on-site dive shop is top notch, with great service and also great teaching. Rooms are spacious, the pool is nice, grounds are beautiful, there's an ocean view. What's not to love?

Safe, quiet, excellent staff, and beautiful location. Most guests are there to dive and snorkeling. We didn’t do either, instead we took advantage of the spa services, rented motorbike to visit center of Amed and Tulamben, and had a local fisherman take us on his boat (jukung) to watch sunset on the ocean. Food wise, no restaurants nearby, just local eateries (warung), so we mostly ate at the resort’s restaurant (good selections). Overall it’s a very relaxing stay for our family (4 nights).

Beautiful hideaway for divers and more. Wonderful snorkeling right in front of hotel. Lovely pool overlooks ocean. Restaurant was delicious as well. Rooms are spacious with low-cost upgrades like ocean facing or courtyard with private pool. Highly recommended.

We have enjoyed Bali Dive resort every year since 2014, excluding covid years, and have already booked next year. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DIVE TO ENJOY THIS PLACE. Beautiful well kept grounds and pool, a fantastic restaurant with a well trained staff, a great spa, all equal the perfect place. On a stay prior to covid, I mentioned to manager Nichole, with ageing making me less stable, I had become uncomfortable with the steep marble stairs leading from registration to the grounds as there was no handrail. When we arrived this March we were so very surprised she had installed beautiful stainless steel handrails on BOTH sides of the stairs. Now, can you be more accommodating than that??

Staff was excellent. Dive shop had great staff and I liked the fact that once you had your equipment chosen, you had the same equipment for the duration of your stay. Restaurant was good and breakfast options were great and portions hearty. Somethings could use updating such as towels in the units. Overall I would stay there again.

Just INCREDIBLE! The snorkeling and diving here is life changing, and the sunrise views over the ocean from the pool are amazing. This place is the main attraction. Get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the ocean to the fullest extent.

Great place to stay - good location in town - still really need a scooter to get around Amed - its very spread out with hills, so if you do ride a motorbike back home, grab a scooter - nice staff - we had a few meals there - good food - good views on the property of Agung - very nice well kept rooms - overall a great stay - we WILL return.

Definately one of the nicer places to stay in Tulamben. Room spacious and comfortable air conditioning fridge to kept beverage cold. Staff was attentive with exception of restaurant staff. They were friendly but never check back with you to see if you need something else. 9 times out of ten they forgot to give you napkins. Little details I see as an inn owner myself. Overall good choice beautiful ground! Attention to a few details would make this an outstanding place.

Restaurant: Staff is absolutely not interested, they literally throw the menu on the table and turn their back on you. Why would they care, they precharge a service fee anyways and you have no other real restaurant options anywhere close. We found SEVERAL eggshells in our food. We saw a rat running THROUGH the restaurant multiple days. Breakfast is not a buffet, you choose a little menu and you cannot change much about it. They will simply not allow that. Terrible service overall. Rooms More than disappointing! TV has 7 channels, 2 english channels. Our room has not been made the first day. Minibar has no snacks and is WAY overpriced. The door does not close fully, you WILL have ants and bugs in your room. We tried to put towels there to minimize the amount of bugs we had to kill before sleeping. Activities / Diving Beachfront has roosters and trash laying around. Dive shop seemed okay, but overpriced. They drove us for 5 minutes to a snorkeling site and we only borrowed one pair of fins and had to pay 20US$ per person. Dive instructor was helpful. We stayed in Bali for 3 weeks and we thought about switching hotels the first night we arrived. You can get so much more and so much better than this terrible stay. Please do more research and stay near Ubud, Candi Dasa or Amed. You get SO MUCH more for your money in these areas. NEVER have I seen such an arrogant manager. I will try to get my money back from expedia and absolutely regret booking a room here!

This is a great resort for divers. The food is good and the dive staff are all fantastic. My only suggestion or improvement would be to add a camera room or station some where on property and/or more electrical sockets in the rooms to charge dive camera gear.

Very comfortable room and lovely grounds the restaurant was good. We booked the divemania package for four dives in the first day then snorkeled from the beach on the second day. We used the spa, it was very reasonable priced! Great location for a relaxing getaway!

Beautiful place close to Seraya divespot in Tulamben. Quiet place, right on the beach with friendly staff and excellent dive guides.

Very lovely resort, felt very secluded and peaceful. The hotel made snorkeling and diving activities very easy to arrange as well as the spa services. Really enjoyed the breakfast as well!

The views are the best and I was here to just relax and be away from it all and here you certainly are. I stayed 4 nights. Rooms were comfortable and my bungalow faced east so it didn’t get hot as others had complained about in their reviews. I snorkeled while I saw other guests go out diving daily. The hotel arranged for transportation for me from Ubud and then onto Lovina at reasonable rates. One night I did walk into town from here to eat at Chops & Hops - about a 30 minute walk one way just for a change in scenery. Some slight negatives are that they can’t cook eggs that are palatable - either scrambled or boiled as noted by other guests I’d talked to and some staff members as well. The other breakfast choices and food I ate for dinner were fine though. The spa - massages and facials - was great but not up to date on manicures or gel polish. The rooms are a little banged up from wear and tear but nothing that couldn’t be fixed with some new paint.

This hotel is very great if you want to do scuba diving! The service is not that great, not sure if there is a manager that manage the people. I will definitely stay there again, because of the dive experience, but thats all.

I cannot say enough nice things about Bali Dive Resort and spa. I stayed for 7 days. The room was perfect. A big comfortable bed and room.. Good air conditioning, refrigerator that works. Water was provided. Beautiful view of the ocean and pool. Nice patio. Good WiFi. Beautiful grounds. Excellent restaurant and staff. Great diving and dive shop. I loved it here and could have stayed another week!

Super nice! Very helpful, friendly and professional staff in dive Center, spa and resort. Very environmentally friendly policy with no plastic bottles / straw offered but water bottles and paper straw. The food in restaurant is great with vegetarian food. The facilities and room are clean, tidy and in good condition. The dives were great with some dive sites such as the ship wreck liberty and Emerald nearby. The spa was very relaxing and I loved it! Recommended! And we will definitely come back!

This was affordable paradise. The pools, rooms and service were very good.

Seemed like one of the nicest dive resorts around. The staff was exceptionally accommodating. They made staying here easy and fun.
