Very relaxing stay, close to the shopping centre. The room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Very happy

Middle of winter and heater was on a timer and turned off in the middle of the night. The so called playground is a toddlers climbing frame. Mould in the bathroom sink drain. Linen is out dated. Over priced.

Coffee cups were dirty. Heater was ineffective. When trying to use the shower for the first time, the shower head/hose flew off the bracket on the wall and sprayed water everywhere in bathroom. Used intercom at the office door to report problem and request a mop, but was told someone would be there later to fix it.

It was fine. New owners just settling in I think. It was very quiet. We stayed in a unit, with parking right outside. The toilet wasn't properly clean, but everything else was OK, just shabby. Old style bathroom, not like the photos of the units. It was all accessible, but nowhere to put anything in the shower. Shower was good though. Rooms were tiny, so no room for bedside tables. There was a wardrobe, with shelves to use, but nowhere to really fit a suitcase in the master (the shelf was big enough for our small suitcase in the twin). Beds were comfortable. The frypans could be replaced. The gardens would have been beautiful, but needed a bit of attention. It's a bit out of town, which is fine with a car and very quiet.
Overall, as long as your expectations are for a budget motel, it's fine - good.

Staff were friendly and attentive. The unit was clean and had good amenities. Bedroom was cramped and front security door broken so ventilation was a subsequent issue

We arrived in the afternoon, on our way to another location.
The owner was at Reception. She was so helpful and friendly. She allowed me to use the washing machine free and I only had to pay for the dryer… which was only $4!
The room and bathroom was immaculate. We left early but I would highly recommend… Bicheno in Tasmania is a wonderful seaside little town… beautiful

Nice quiet motel, 5min walk to the beautiful Redbill Beach, and a 3min drive to the town centre. The staff were absolutely wonderful. We stayed in the family room which was cosy and clean. Facilities were in good working order. Toaster, kettle and a small fridge were all adequate for our needs. Soap and shampoo was supplied, but you'll need to bring your own face washer and shower cap.

Sign in room saying ‘No room cleaning due to Covid’, really?☹️ You have to leave your towels outside the room if you want clean ones and I assume the clean ones would be left outside as well!

Our stay here was ok. The floor wasn’t particularly clean and there is no air conditioning. There was a fan in the kitchen/living area. The apartment was quite small but met our needs.

The cabin layout suited our family of 4 (including 2 teenagers). Highlight was the 5 minute walk down to the beach where we saw some fairy penguins come ashore.

The motel is warm, clean and comfortable. The owner provided fantastic service. She provided recommendations for dinner and breakfast the next day. She also went above and beyond to ship me items of clothing that I left behind by mistake. Would definitely stay again.

Decent budget stay but quality of fixtures are not great and our room was a bit noisy as it was attached to the main house next door. Heater was barely adequate for the winter cold.
