The experience was excellent over apart from walking into room that smelt like curry due to microwave not being cleaned. To their credit this was rectified promptly and the rest of the stay very enjoyable, staff helpful, room comfortable and surrounds peaceful and relaxing.

The cottage is well equipped, especially the utensils in the kitchen were sufficient! This is a nice and self-contained cottage, with very friendly staff if you need help. Everything was excellent, except the wifi is limited to the reception area. We enjoyed our stay there very much!

Gorgeous location, no frills accommodation but great value.

Comfortable bed, nice linen and towels. Cottages could do with renovation, especially bathroom and kitchen areas. Our cottage was overlooking roofs of other cottages that needed cleaning. Very cheerful and polite staff.

Very very relaxing the accommodation was excellent. Very clean quite and functional even though the space was not large...highly recommend this property.

Lovely stay at Lorne's Great Ocean Road Cottages. Beautiful views of treetops, bushland and ocean. Close to shops, beach and supermarket. Enjoyed our stay, kids loved the mezzanine bed room with ladder access. Tidy and clean but could do with a refresh paint.

What a beautiful place.Walking distance to everything we needed. Private, cosy and relaxing time away. Will absolutely have a return visit.

Just stayed overnight and it was a really different place to stay. The cottage looked a bit tired and could do with modernising, but it was quirky and suited our needs for the night. The stairs up to the mezzanine are very steep so beware if you have young children, but they made the place memorable.Everything was clean, which was the main thing for us and the lady on site was very knowledgeable and friendly.There are cockatoos that swoop down on your balcony and you are asked not to feed them as they may become a nuisance.We had a parking space next to the cottage but the site is steep and you may have to park and walk uphill, but ask the staff and they will accommodate you.

First stop on Great Ocean Road, couldn't have been better. Well equipped cottage, very cosy.

Very friendly. The proprietor even chased after me in the rain to provide me with an umbrella! Comfortable and quiet. Easy walk into town. Great stay. I wish it had been longer!
