Pretty lovely staff but hotel/room way overpriced. Room smelled of smoke and there was a leak from the upstairs in to our bathroom floor, WiFi didn’t work, tv didn’t work… choose somewhere else even if the front desk receptionist is nice!

Basic hotel with necessary amenities in a lovely location in front of lake. Rooms adequate although rather run down. We missed having a fridge in room. Comfortable beds.

Amazing view of the lake. Friendly staff. A short walk to the mall for those who can't afford the extortionate restaurant prices. Free bus transport steps away. Good, simple breakfast with endless coffee for only chf 11.
The only negative was the shower which is in need of simple repair and would save on towels as mopping up was required after every use. The shower head wouldn't stay in one place and the glass screen had almost no seal. A nuisance but not a deal breaker. This is a fantastic place to stay.

Great location and very nice receptionist with a sense of humor. Room was clean, bigger than expected. 3 stars bc it is a bit old and bc the bathroom was not great. Hot water pressure is non-existent, so I kept cycling through cold water to wash the soap away and then a trickle of hot to warm up. I didn't say anything bc I only stayed 1 night but if I was going to be there any longer I would have asked about it.

very central hotel and very close to the jazz fest and all the activities however because it is so central and so close there seems little incentive to offer a nice breakfast in the morning or to paint the rooms and corridors which look a little old and tired. it could do with a spruce up

It had an amazing view. I was accessible to many shopping and dining options. Staffs were very good. Breakfast was very good with lots of variety. Afternoon coffee and cake was good. It was very family friendly hotel.

The Montreux Jazz Festival was happening and that night it was very noisy until 2:00 or 3:00 am. We were told that the festival took three weeks. In addition, I don’t recommend this because of 2 other reasons: 1. We had to make the bed; 2. The hotel does not provide tissues.

The male staff who helped us stored our luggages were very friendly. Even tho he doesn’t smile and not much words. The room was ok. Floors definitely need to be repair before guest get injured. The nails pops out. We need to place a towel over it otherwise we will be injured. One spot is cracked. If guest weight heavier. He/she will make a big hole into the existing cracks.bed is not comfortable at all! It needs to be replace. We also notice someone is smoking in other rooms. It smells so bad that we have to turn on the portable AC all night. We then decided to check out early as the smoking started early morning too. Apart from that! We enjoy walking around the place. Lots of restaurants. Not far from Montreux train station.

The lake view is wonderful. The hotel location is nice, close to train station and easy to find. However, the room have a humidity smell and the toilet have strong smell which doesn’t comfortable.

Area was great. Walkable and great view if you chose a lakeview room. Hotel is a little difficult to spot unless you're actively looking for it because it has a restaurant right at the front. Convenient for food though which is nice.
However, the receptionist was never at her desk and was very impatient whenever she had to be called down. Our room keys and door codes stopped working for no reason and we needed to wait until the next day to get new keys. Room didn't feel dirty per day but didn't feel clean overall. Wouldn't choose to stay there again if given a choice.

The hotel is very nice, fairly close to everything. The people were very nice. Also the great breakfast was a plus. Lots of choices and everything was very nice. We had a kitchenette and that was also a plus. Than you.

As a family of 4 traveling, we found the room perfect to accommodate all of us. The staff member who checked us in and out was lovely - friendly and helpful. We did not include breakfast with our stay, but changed our minds the next morning and she was incredibly kind and pleasant about accommodating our last minute change. The location of the hotel was perfect - overlooking the lake and with many dining options nearby as well as transportation stops close by. The walk to/from the train station was super quick as well. We had a very nice stay and would definitely return!
