Would not recommend to anyone

Everything was great we loved having restaurant as we didn't have to go back to town meals were fantastic staff did over and above made our stay most enjoyable we will visit again

We booked the Delux King suite with the Spa Bath. The Spa bath disnt work at all, the pump made a really loud noise and turned itself off. The was NO hot water at the afternoon, at night, or in thw morning. We had to have a 30sec FreeIng cold shower in winter!.. The food at the onsite Reaturant, was below average. Which was just a whole nother level of disappointment.... Will not be going there again, nor would i recommend it!

This was my 2nd stay at Grand Oaks with my partner, and while we were happy to return to Beechworth and to see the staff, unfortunately we didn’t have as good a stay as last time. Hot water didn’t work consistently, I think due to the resort being fully booked out as this wasn’t the case last time. I could hear the couple in the room next door complaining about this issue as well, and I heard them raise the issue with the resort staff, but the issue was still not rectified for our room. The room I stayed in also wasn’t cleaned or reset properly. The sheets were changed each day but the floor wasn’t vacuumed, nor was the bathroom counter wiped down during our stay. There aren’t any cleaning items provided in the rooms for guests to be able to do this themselves, I think this would be a good idea. I would recommend staying at this property on quieter visits to Beechworth (e.g outside of public holiday long weekends or big events)

Loved the quiet location and the 'feel' of the entire area. Very pretty, despite the overnight torrential downpour of rain. Really enjoyed staying here and can highly recommend it

Found the room to be rather small..nowhere for luggage to be stored/opened. Toilet flush button was not easy to press. Tv too small... and uncomfortable to watch from the bed. One stabilising bar in fridge qas missing Nice large shower Bar

Lovely and clean.

I would have liked to give a higher rating, but have to drop it a bit because the walls between rooms are paper thin. We had a loud couple on one side and a crying baby (no-one's fault) on the other, so it was pretty hard to relax. The food was good and the staff very attentive. Set in a nice location.

Beautiful trees nearby. Receptionist was pretty disinterested, not particularly friendly or helpful, she just wanted to go home for the night. Otherwise all pretty good. Comfy, clean room. One of the bathroom ceiling lights was broken & you could see into the ceiling cavity. And my room window wouldn’t open. Pool was a little disused but clean enough to swim in (which I did) with lovely outlook. I would stay here again.

Maybe was grand in another era, but updates on it have been done on the cheap side , pool was very sad looking . Wouldn’t bother staying there again I believe there would be other places in town better value

We stayed in one of the small rooms and it was comfortable and clean. It was in a great quiet location and the motel was quite pretty and common areas were nicely decorated. Happy we stayed there and the price was excellent for Beechworth.

We liked the spectacular park surrounds with giant oaks and trees of all sorts. The Old buildings were beautiful although sadly uncared for. We loved the peace and quiet and the lovely air. We would stay there again but in a bigger (more expensive) room Comfortable bed and window overlooking parkland.

The property is a reasonably priced placed to stay - between chefs at the time I went so the restaurant was closed. The pool needs to be cleaned. Leaves etc blow into the pool but there were cobwebs on the spa bit of it. Rooms are small but wifi was good. A reasonably priced place to stay for a night or two.

Grand oaks is a lovely resort close to the town centre and the room/ pool were fantastic!

Didn't use most facilities, as we were there for a limited time, just for a sleep. Reception was ok, but not overly welcoming. Would stay again, as it is very convenient, and a nice place.

Pool was great, but the room was very small, no bed side tables or power point on 1 side for charging phone, bathroom was good, tv only had chanel 7 and abc, but was a great spot.

Grand Oaks was a nice place, only saw reception staff once on Saturday lunchtime, disappointed the bar/restaurant was not open over the long weekend. Very quiet and peaceful.

Nice big room and very comfortable bed. Great location and lovely grounds. Staff were very helpful with a late check in.

We originally booked a double room which was too small, so paid for an upgrade to the Deluxe King Suite. This room, with spa bath, was amazing.

beautiful grounds.but worst bed ever, three nights of broken sleep hell . Room was clean but water pressure in shower terrible. definitely not resort material more a retreat.
