Room was very nice, simple, tastefully decorated. Very clean, we had everything to feel comfortable. Kitchen/breakfast area was spotless. Motel even has area to relax and enjoy the sunset with mountain views. Location of the hotel is fantastic: walking distance from downtown Canon City; right across the street from the Royal Gorge train and the Arkansas river and 3 minutes from Tunnel Drive Trail Head if you like scenery and hiking. One block from the motel is a fantastic ice cream shop! Continental breakfast was delicious, lots of variety. We ate outside of the breakfast area and enjoyed the mountain views. We will definitely be staying here if we are in this area again!

Smallish room but otherwise just great. The shower water pressure is the best of the thousands of properties that I have stayed.

Beds were super comfy, and the front desk service was great. Good breakfast choices, nice to be able to park right at our room. The road noise was very loud, as was the train that came by. Not a deal breaker, just something to keep in mind.

What an amazing find! This place was such a gem! We (a couple) stayed in a 2 queen room. Yes, it was not the roomiest place that I have ever stayed in, but it was perfectly fine for us. It was easily the best maintained place I have ever stayed in. It was clean and had so many thoughtful touches. It is an older property, but the owners have obviously made the best of what they have to work with. Great location. You can easily walk to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!

It was better than expected for the price. It was clean and we had sliding doors out onto the balcony which overlooks an irrigation ditch which was cool to hear the water running. We also had a great view of the mountains. The breakfast could be better, nothing special, typical for a motel. The outdoor patio was nice to sit at and drink coffee and chat with some other guests. It overlooks the Main Street, so a little noisy but never bothered us. There’s a nice park across the street and we watched a couple deer run through it. For the price, location and pleasantness I would stay there again and recommend it if you’re not looking for something super fancy. Very friendly atmosphere.

The property had exactly what we needed for our short stay in the area. The family room was great, with 3 comfy beds so there was plenty of room for everyone to sleep. The property is clean, management was nice and very helpful, and the free continental breakfast was a nice surprise. This was our second time to stay here and we will definitely be back when in the area.
