Old style motel but was clean and comfortable.

We have stayed here over half a dozen times over a span of 3 years. While it is very outdated it was always clean. As in absolutely spotless which is why we continued to come here. In July our room was dirty but assumed it was a fluke. This past stay in September was nothing short of disgusting. We arrived with hair all over the bathroom floor, the towels, in the shower and cobwebs on the bathroom floor. They did not change the room trash bag in the can so it had stuff on the bag from the previous guests. Which in turn caused the entire room to be filled with gnats. While a gnat causes no harm neither my husband or myself have ever seen so many gnats in our lives. We checked out early after housekeeping attempted to enter our room with the do not disturb sign in the key slot. When I asked why she entered she claimed she couldn't see without her glasses and meant to enter room 10,however while packing our things she was never cleaning room 10. What her reason was for entering our room, I don't know but her lack of concern for invading our privacy was completely unprofessional. Stay anywhere but here!

Bad

Need to upgrade room a little, desk chair seemed like it was broke cause you couldn't get back to lock in place. Why have a microwave if you have nothing to use in it. at least put cups out that you can use in it to make coffee or tea.

Room was clean, safe had all that was needed. Place is a little dated with all the minimums covered. Air cond./refer. kept waking me up. staff nice. If you are up early no coffee till 8 or so. Was quiet. Good value for the price, not a vacation spot.

I would have really liked to have had coffee available in my room or somewhere on the premises. I was not aware that there were no amenities available at the hotel before making my arrangements.

It is very nice and affordable motel clean beautiful views staff friendly.

Not a bad room at all. Service was good. Bed wasn't very comfy. I really wish all hotels would use a free and clean detergent. The sheets were not perfumed but all of the bathroom towels and washcloths were very strong smelling like detergent.

Our non-smoking room reeked of smoke. As far as we know, none of the rooms in this motel allows smoking but apparently some of their customers do smoke anyway. This property should do a better job enforcing their non-smoking policy.

It served its purpose for the night. I would only stay there again as a last resort.

The staff were extremely helpful. The room was nice. My minor complaints would be that the bedcover in my nonsmoking room had a cigarette burn hole and that there was no recycling. The motel is conveniently close to a highway, but quiet. It is a bit isolated - it is inconvenient to walk even to close places, since there are no sidewalks.

Have stayed here several times while fishing at Lake Raystown. This time was a bit disappointing. The room did not smell "fresh", the tub/shower looked as though it had not been cleaned, the room next to us had approx 12 people in it who played loud mariachi music until well after 11PM. There appeared to be empty rooms that the desk could have put us in, away from the large group.

The staff was very nice and helpful. The room was exactly as advertised. If I need to go to Huntingdon again I would stay here.

Overall we liked our stay, the people at the desk were friendly and made us feel welcomed.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the outside of the property was clean. We expected the room to be dated based on the pictures, however, we didn’t expect there to be issues with cleanliness (particularly in the bathroom). The towels were threadbare, rough, and dirty. The bedsheets, blanket, and comforter were also very worn and of questionable cleanliness. The pillows were useless and old. We would not stay again.

we had a very nice stay in the Huntingdon Motor Inn the room was spotless, beds comfortable, The employees were very welcoming even made me a pot of fresh coffee at 8:30pm. We enjoyed the experience.

This is an older motel style facility. It was clean and the staff did all they could to make the stay pleasant. The room was a little small with only 1 chair for the 2 of us. Also it was difficult to get the room temperature warm enough.

A new tv had been put in room but was not set up properly -- could not access any cable channels. Person from office tried to remedy problem without success. Said that owner who'd "installed" tv would have to fix it, but nothing was done during my stay. Very frustrating as I wanted to access Weather channel to gauge travel conditions for 3/19. Glad I had brought a good book.

Great little motel about45 minutes from the Bryce Jordan Center. Very clean, affordable, and friendly staff

It was a nice location and quiet and not as expensive as other hotels but the shower head had lots of scum so did the walls of the shower and the curtain liner. I had to take a shower with cold water because I guess everyone had to check out and we were all taking a shower at the same time and it was no hot water. The bed was alright but the pillows were flat and no support and the bed sheets are old with lots of lint and human hair.

Typical roadside motel. It's not the Ritz but it's not a sleazy no tell motel either. I was visiting my daughter and it suited my needs.
