Very cute little guest house. Different apartments in an old, historic house. You can't beat the location. You are a block off of the main street of downtown and can walk almost anywhere. Communication with the staff is excellent.

Check-in was a breeze. Spacious Veranda to enjoy the early Summer rain from in the evening. The suite was well-appointed and comfortable. Perfect for a small family like us. Kids had a wonderful time also.

Kathy Ann (the owner) was very nice. Readily available with any questions we had. The attention to detail in the room such as the furnishings, beddings, coffee and tea for our use as well as a basket of goodies (olive oil, noodles and sauce were a nice touch. Especially if you get in late and haven't had dinner. The location was wonderful, right in the center of town. Everything in walking distance. We would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend!!!

Lovely retro Victorian house, just around the corner from Baker street shops and restaurants but on a quiet side street. Large rooms, comfortable beds, well equipped with good coffee and a pasta meal provided by the owners. Good communication. Very good place to stay.

Everything was perfect , cozy olace, ubicacion , furniture distribution etc... I didn't got it how to use the air conditioner (maybe was me the problem) We're happy there and is all that matter.

Super easy to walk into the downtown shopping and eating area. Good off street parking. Only slight downside was the bathroom, very small shower!

The hotel is in a great location and comfortable. I only have 2 complaints. The first complaint is using the key pad in the dark is a problem since there is no light on the key pad. The other is we could not get the tv to work after the 3 rd day. We did everything they recommended we do and it worked after some hassles the first two days but no matter what we did on the 3 rd day we could not get it to work. Everything else about the place was fine. They had left coffee to make, had enough dishes to cook with had olive oil to use which was all great. The bed was comfortable, the layout of the room was nice. A few tweaks to the place would make it great.

Wonderful gem in Nelson. Loved all the thoughtful extras provided by hosts. Quaint and charming decor. Loved the verandah and garden.

We stayed in the Veranda Suite and loved it for the porch with the garden view. The room was spacious and the kitchen was well appointed and we cooked several meals in. Check in was easy and we loved that there was some parking on site. Great place for dogs as well. We did bring in a carpet from our car for them to lay on as it's all hardwood.

My sister and I escaped to Nelson for a little sisters retreat, and we couldn’t have asked for a better weekend. The Victoria Falls Guest House was perfect for us. It was charming and clean and perfect for our needs. We were also delighted to discover that it was truly within walking distance of almost everything. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This was a fantastic location although in the middle of the action it was a quiet street. We loved the privacy, the charm of an old Victorian home, The caretaker was excellent and we loved being able to safely store our ski gear.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Falls Guest House. The suite we had was neat, clean and comfortable. The proximity to Baker St shopping and eating was superb. We managed to walk to many things that we were interested in doing for our short weekend stay. The floors are a little squeaky but it is an old house so that should be expected. It wasn't a problem for us but I worried that the people below might be bothered. We slept with the windows open since this October has been so gorgeous and there was some street noise on Saturday night but that is to be expected. You are going to get that at any of hotels near Baker St. Definitely recommend booking this guest house.

Victorian style, very unique. My kids described it as like staying in a museum

The owners called upon our arrival to make sure we made it in. Was clean and close to all services. Keyless entry was great. My only feedback is that the bed seems to slant towards the head board. Maybe the frame was higher at one end than the other?

The owner Cathy was very friendly and helpful in offering suggestions regarding restaurants in the area. Staying at Victoria Falls is always comfortable and welcoming.
