An older property that needs updating

Clean and comfortable. A good value.

Room was dimly lit, TV didn't work, no coffee maker. Rude staff

Tv was broke but other than that was great stay.close to Timmies and gas bar

Cockroaches, bed bugs and more. Literally disgusting. Do not stay here.

No coffee pot. Slow moving drains. Uncomfortable seating.

Comfortable and clean room with a great bed.

No kleenex, only one light bulb working in bathroom, extremely small shower, beds were uncomfortable. Not at all worth the money we paid. Trash all over the outside of the property. Crack in the ceiling was worrisome.

I have stayed there with diferent owners. TV was still CRT towels very thin, no cups but when i asked got them. Not overly clean. I now its a hotel just to stay overnight and sleep but condition of room has deteriated since last time

In desperate need of a mske over. Far better vslue in the same area for the same price.

Bathroom exhaust fan does not work and requires a dust free cleaning.

Our stay on July 11 th was ok , pretty much what we expected. However,our return stay on July 27 th was not good. Air conditioner fan was squealing,fire alarm was working,but hanging loose ( it was Hard wired ) ceiling showed obvious repair/ damage. If I was to book here again we it would be on the condition I got a ground floor as we had on July 11 th. 4 piece bath an easier access .

Easy check in

The property was easy to find off the highway. The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and answered any questions I had.

I am on a long driving trip solo to Cape Breton . This is a basic room with a relatively clean shower and sheets. The motel is aged and needs much care. The room had everything I needed and was clean. I was very pleased to find it so conveniently located to Tim Horton and a good restaurant Le Deck

Just an overnight stay

The beds were comfortable and having the fridge and microwave are a good idea

Dates but clean. One night stop perfect.

The room was clean but it would be nice to have a armchair instead of a regular chair in the corner. The kitchen chair would need to be repair. The ceiling would need some repairs too. For the price it could be better

All the necessities. Very clean. Reasonable price. Convenient location for a quick night. Great safety bars for tub and shower in/out - much appreciated by those no longer young.

I found cockroaches in my room

Bathroom fan wasn’t working properly and the bathroom sink wasn’t draining properly

First room we got here was the double bed. Its okay. Not great feeling bed but fine for a night. The room decour is pretty ugly and the ceiling fan hadnt been cleaned but overall it wasnt terrible. I feel like they over charge for what you get. The property looks like a dump. And our second stay was disgusting and awful so we will never come back. They should not be charging over 100$ a night for this placr unless they do some major cleanliness overhaul. It looks like its being run into the ground....

This property definitely shows its best side in the photo online. It is clearly NOT worth the money! This is a $70 motel at best. 2 bath, 1 hand, 1 facecloth for 2 people (a couple). Neighbourhood is ‘dodgy’ at best. Room is old, bed is soft. Had to ring a bell for someone to unlock the office door at 6 pm at night. Flooring in room is old, air conditioner has one speed and is noisy, as is the ceiling fan. Only saving grace was good water pressure in the shower. We do NOT recommend staying here - ever.

Neighbourhood of location is questionable. Bathroom sink had terrible leak. Water all over the floor and there were not enough towels for 2 people. Also, toilet was plugged up. Do not recommend this motel.

The bed was very comfortable. We stayed in room 17 and it was on the ground floor which was good. We ate at the Dairy Queen because there is not many selections for restaurants. The Dairy Queen was delicious the burger and the onion rings were great. The only thing I would’ve liked is an extra towel. Shower was good.
