Part of this is on me b/c I didn't realize this was a MOtel and not a HOtel. I also didn't realize that WV allows smoking in rooms so I never looked for the option for a non smoking room. I will next time b/c the room reeked of cigarette smoke so bad that we both had sinus issues. While most of the room was renovated, the walls were in bad shape, the ceiling over the old shower insert was peeling, and the front door was filthy and in bad shape. Also folks looking at this motel should know that there are indeed permanent residents there, so infer what you will about possible ongoing activities.

Small hotel, but it was clean. The parking lot was very bright. It worked well for what I needed, which was simply just a place to stay for two nights. I would consider going there again. Staff was incredibly friendly.

The desk clerk was very nice and professional. Too many people hanging outside the rooms partying. In the rooms my bed had something red on it, my chairs had stains we couldn't sit on them, bathroom smell like urine, but the room was in upgrade in other areas and had all the amenities really I liked and surrounding stores. She was not sleeping on that stained bed and bathroom smell, I checked out around 7 and told no refund even thoug I paid extra. Needs to hire security.

The place was great..super friendly personal..but the breakfast could have been alittle better..the sponges they called eggs were nasty and the sausage, not sure what it was but it could have been better ..maybe try using hard boiled eggs instead of what you are using... I had to go elsewhere to eat breakast..other then that ..things were good

Arrived a few hrs before check-in after cataract surgery and just wanted to rest. I explained to the front desk my request for early check-in. Lucky, they were able to accommodate my request. Now that is service.

The place was okay for short stay. The walls and floors are not exactly sound proof, as we were awakened a few times in the night by the upper floor occupant walking around in their room above ours.

Unfortunately this is a hotel that is not recommendable. The rooms were clean for the most part. We had to supply our own towels because they didn’t have enough for all of the rooms. The staff was friendly. This hotel needs some help from upper management and money needs to be spent to make sure it doesn’t give Days Inn a bad reputation in North Eastern WV.

This is an old fashioned motel with all room entries off an outdoor sidewalk or balcony. These outdoor areas seemed to be heavily used by smokers many of whom seem to reside at the property. How this ever got to be rated over 8.0 should be investigated by Expedia. I had expected so mush more based on its over 8.0 rating and its connection to Wyndam. I guess I way over estimated the standards for Wyndam properties as I have never stayed at such a poor quality property that was associated with them. Lesson learned. How the property got as many 10 ratings as it has should also be looked at.
If this room was half the price it was, this would not be so bad but it was priced like a high quality chain hotel, which it was neither - a hotel or high quality/clean hotel. A dirty old fashioned motel that people stood smoking on the second balcony smoking while having loud conversations with others on the ground floor, seemingly at all hours of the night. Yikes.

Clock radio did not work, so we asked for a replacement and the radio still did not work, clock was fine on the second one.
Breakfast could offer more of a variety, as it was the exact same for the 5 days we were there. No bananas, eggs & sausage had no flavor.
This hotel appears to be used primarily for construction workers and the guest above us had "lead" feet.

Property was rated 8.2 on Expedia so I figured it would be a good choice for the night…boy was I wrong!! Property is extremely run down and in dire need of repairs. Upon entering my room I was greeted by the horrific odor of cigarette smoke (even though room was suppose to be nonsmoking. Figured I could get past the smell for just 1 night…got into the room and turned the heat on (air was on full blast and it’s already cold outside) and after falling asleep for about 3 hours woke up to my room being cold still and the unit still blowing cool air. Cleanliness and normal maintenance was no better. Multiple patches in the carpet, peeling paint on the ceiling, hard lumpy mattress and pillows. Just an all around bad experience when all I wanted was a night of sleep before returning home. Would not recommend this hotel for anyone!

Property is old. It sounded like the ceiling in the room was going to crash down on us from people walking around. If you wanted room cleaning you had to take a request from to the main office at the other end of the property. You get what you pay for.

Stayed over after we saw a show at the Casino. Free shuttle service to the casino and a specific bar. Service avail 5:00p-12:00am. The driver even texts those she dropped off reminding them of the approaching end time of shuttle service. Breakfast avail in the lobby. Beds very comfortable and linens had a pleasant feel.

The rooms were clean but the first room i stayed in had a strong smell of cigarette smoke and one day coming back from work my door was open because it didnt latch, like i thought it had. The second room was clean but had little ants all over the bathroom, which i got bitten by.
