Lovely stay at the Butler House. We had a room on the main floor and despite being right on Main Street, it was wonderfully quiet. The room was warm and welcoming, the kitchen well stocked. It would have been cool if the fireplace worked, but not a big deal. Loved the whole vibe.

This place has it all! It is super clean, well decorated, and everything we could possibly want was in the room.

Wonderful little coffee bar in the room. Fantastic bed. Gorgeous view out the window on Main Street right onto the picturesque white steeple Church in Stowe.

Wonderful room in historic building in a quaint town. Very thoughtfully appointed and convenient to the main street with shops and restaurants. Good notes and information from the proprietors. I could see there being noise from the road and the restaurant in the building during busy tourist times, but when I was there, it was very chill and relaxing.

We loved our stay at the Butler House! We have stayed in the "lounge" room now 4 times, and we have loved it every time! So perfectly located in the cute Stowe downtown area with shops, and only a 10 minute drive to the mountain. The room is very spacious and always very clean!

Nice to have a Butler house and pantry parking lot on main street but no assigned parking. The restaurant took over the parking. Only bad thing. Nice place and I can cook meals. I liked it. Very unique

We stayed in unit #9 which is in the front of the building; it was very noisy in the morning as restaurant visitors lined up to get in (FYI-food was excellent!). Had I known, I would have booked a room towards the back. Also (small complaint), batteries in the AC remote were dead, moved them from the cable remote as needed. Really great location!!!! Would definitely return.

Located in "downtown" Stowe, this is a walkable property to local restaurants, limited shopping and walking/biking trails. Good for short stays that require limited housekeeping.

My girlfriend tested positive for COVID days before our trip and they would not refund or give us a credit. This is a poor business practice.

This is a great place to stay if you are fit. It's right in the heart of town, clean, cute, reasonably priced, and has a breakfast resturant attached. If you are mobility challenged keep looking. Parking is in the rear. I asked for help from other guests who said no and would not let me in the back door. Steps up to the front door are met with no place to sit in the entry way to rest. NO ONE WORKS THERE. THERE IS NO CLERK ON DUTY. Your key us hanging on the wall, and a flight of steep stairs confronts you. Again, no chair at the top of the stairs to rest, just more steps down to the room. Zero thought has been given to seniors, or handicapped. Trying to manage all of this with luggage was such a challenge, I canceled my plans for the next day and stayed hidden in my room reading. Every door that shuts vibrates the walls, and slams loud. Upon exit, I phoned for help with my luggage on the steep steps. NOPE! SORRY. NO ONE IS ON LOCATION. THIS IS NOT A Senior Friendly Location, or HANDICAPPED LOCATION. HOW DO THEY GET AWAY WITH IT?

Amazing place!!! Right in the heart of the cutest town! Loved Sarah’s Suite with the kitchenette and fireplace. It was the perfect spot to celebrate our 20th anniversary.

Excellent location in town center. Our suite was very well laid out. The only negative and very minor issue was the door lock to the room....need to be changed.

Property is centrally located on Main Street in Stowe but offers very few amenities. No daily housekeeping and no staff on site. Good if you are an early riser as the first floor is a breakfast restaurant and noisy. Not so much if you sleep past 7am.

We loved our stay at Butler House. It was so convenient to things in Stowe. We used it as a home base being able to stop frequently to drop stuff off or change and never had to worry about parking. We had a great view of the iconic church and mountains. The room was nice as well. Cool during really hot days. Very clean. Overall, a great stay

Charming room with brick wall. Our room had a kitchenette which has great. Onsite laundry was teally helpful. Was pretty quiet for the location.

Comfortable for a single night stay on a road trip. It's a bit noisy, but I drowned that out with my snoring.

Very nice and spacious room. Tastefully decorated and quaint. There was a queen size bed in the room that was just a bit too firm for us. Had it been a little softer it would have been a perfect score for the stay. All in all, it was a very nice place and a great location!

The room was exceptionally spacious and within walking distance to several local shops and restaurants right on Main Street. For the price, you absolutely can't beat this cozy walk-in/walk-out location that's just a short drive away from the slopes.

Our stay was amazing! Great location and exactly what we needed! The suite was bigger than expected and had all the amenities we needed. I would definitely recommend and would most definitely stay again!
