We love this place... probably stayed here at least 10+ trips and we will keep going back... location.. cost... clean.. friendly and helpful.. updated.. and did i mention cost and location 😬

We saw this hotel was very highly rated and it should! For the price we paid, it’s unbelievably great place. Room was really clean, fresh towels, comfortable bed. All staff were super friendly. Free coffee at the reception with nice sitting area. We didn’t use but it looks like they have bbq in the backyard. It’s on the busy street but the hotel is tucked away so we didn’t hear traffic(very quiet) at night. We thought the hotel is bit far from the town but is a walking distance, so we walked to the town and had meal. We’ll definitely use again!

No frills motel. Bed was comfy however there were tiny gnats in the bathroom. They seemed to be coming from behind the light switch? Maybe there was some moisture somewhere in the bathroom. They weren't bothersome just found it odd that they were there. Also the water in the shower did not get hot enough, and there is no microwave in the room.

It's a very clean and comfortable room A+ for bedding.
There a minimum suggestions:
Having a USB outlets would be nice.
Having mirror aligned with the sink would be helpful especially when shaving.

This was one of the nicest places we have stayed at. The rooms were immaculate,clean and freshly redone. The staff was helpful and friendly. Can’t wait to return.

I loved it almost everything 💕 not a fan of the mattress but nothing that a additional something on the bed wouldn’t fix everything was within walking distance especially the Nostar family restaurant a definite place to check out!!!!!! A great anniversary getaway

Pros:The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. the staff were polite and responsive. I didn't hear noise from the other rooms.
Cons:The mirror in the bathroom was much to low. I mesure 5'11" and I could only see below my chin when standing before it. There was nowhere to place personal hygiene objects near the sink. The television sound and image was of low quality and the air conditioner struggled to keep the room cool.

Price was very good for the limited accomodations. Room size very small no chairs to sit on other than bed. Mattress too soft. Bathroom could have used a shelf or little side table to put your toiletries on. But all in all it was exceptionally clean which matters most in my book. Friendly helpful staff.

I have been here several times and have enjoyed all of my stays, including this one. The clerks were friendly at check-in and check-out. The room was nice and clean, although I was surprised to find someone's leftover, half-eaten sandwich left in a square, plastic restaurant container in the small fridge in the room. Also, I would have appreciated having a fridge with a freezer in it. I thought that the flow of water coming out of the shower head was a bit too strong and fast. I like the location of the inn, not being right in the village, but easy walking distance to the heart of the village, and located right on the main Route 12. I recommend this inn to those who wish to visit Alexandria Bay area.

I booked a poolside room but was given a room on the opposite side of the properly and had to drive to the pool. I was told it was a dockside "upgrade" but I was nowhere near the dock. The pool was littered with leaves and debris and there was even a large spider on the steps under the water. The filters on the pool were turned off as well. I told my grandson he could go in the pool at the next hotel. Room was very small but clean. The staff were very courteous and friendly.

Except for a small mishap with the bed our first night, it was overall a very pleasant stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly.

The Captain's Inn & Suites seemed pretty much like a standard motel - our room had 2 double beds. It was enhanced by the presence of a small kitchenette - range, microwave, under-the-counter fridge and sink. The cupboards were equipped with a set of dishes and flatware. Very convenient. Desk staff were friendly and professional and I would book there again in the future.
