The hotel’s location is very good, rooms have a creative design and the hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast every morning. There are 4 options on the menu, all prepared in the open kitchen - really a great way to start your day. I also recommend trying out the bar, the drinks are amazing.

Fantastic location, close to metro, shopping and food. Check in/out was efficient and quick. Staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations and taxis, especially Spud. Would definitely recommend. Rooms were clean and well appointed with free snacks and drinks.

Treated myself to a stay here. Really enjoyed it. Pricey for sure, but nice rooms, comfy beds, and some of the best, friendliest and most intelligent front desk service you’ll find anywhere in the world. I was traveling alone and staff were proactive, welcoming, anticipated my needs without being invasive, and went above and beyond. Deep soak tub was wonderful after walking on a cold, wet wintry day. Interesting area too. Many fun small shops and things to shop and eat.
One area to improve: there was no smart TV with built-in Netflix, Spotify etc. nowadays, at this price point and for a hotel of this calibre, one would expect it.

The hotel is well accessible with train connection. Great dining options and shopping within walking distance of the hotel.

I chose this property because I knew I would want a luxurious experience for the last days of my trip and Proverbs didn't disappoint. The room was top notch and impressive. I really enjoyed the decor and the spaciousness of the room. The bathtub and the amenities were a nice touch and the location was great with lots of dining options. The only complaint I had was that the room was a bit chilly as it was 19C and I was not able to adjust the temperature up. However, after the staff explained that it had to do with the outside temperature, they offered me a space heater which was sufficient to address the issue.

Great rooms, comfortable and large, 5 star quality. What holds overall hotel back from 5 stars are lack of seats in lobby (no place to wait for your guests or relax). Also some small touches like only one bath towel rather than 2 that most hotels would provide. Location wonderful, staff great

Convenient location in Taipei, with plenty of shopping and eating options nearby. This is the second time my girlfriend and I have stayed at Proverbs. The room was spacious and very clean. My only gripe with the service was the unnecessary urgency with which the staff had tried to "rush" our checkout. I had requested a late check-out at 1pm when I booked the room and was told by the staff it was okay when we arrived. However, on the last day, we got a call from the front desk around noon informing us it was past checkout time, and that they were fully booked that day. I didn't appreciate the rush when we were fully prepared to depart as planned at 1pm. I hope they make a note of this in the future not to rush their guests when a late check-out had been approved. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay during our brief trip to Taipei.

Great location and very clean with good service. A little noisy because of the glass separating the room from the balcony, but not too bad. Couldn't access the pool floor wasn't sure if I needed a special pass or something my room key wouldn't work.

Good that they gave a complimentary upgrade when I asked for it but the way they replied my email sounded like reluctant to give it to me.The counter staff service seems fake too but check in was fast and seamlessly done in the room. Upon check in, they gave a complimentary red wine which is a nice gesture but no use for my kid who is celebrating her birthday. I guessed because this is more suited for couples not kids hotel so it’s fine.their carpet is extremely dirty. They still uses key to open the door which is so inconvenient. Other than that, design and comfort is 100% positive.

Beautiful new construction building in a very central location. Hotel staff was very kind and made our stay very pleasant. Rooftop pool and shower room are a great amenity. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stylist boutique hotel at a reasonable price!

Stayed in May for 2 nights in the classic room. Room had a small balcony overlooking the park/sogo side. Overall it was a nice hotel but not sure if i'd stay here again.
Positives: received a bottle of wine as an Expedia gold member/great bath amenities/loved the mini bar freebies/good location/close to SOGO department.
Negatives: lack of common area such as lobby was strange even for boutique hotel/strange layout in terms of room(bathroom to bedroom)/cleanliness was poor/really wished they would wipe down the brass walls or at least our room door frequently. This really bothered me to be honest. Fingerprints and smudges were left the entire trip and doesn't look good on reflective surfaces.
