Buck and Clea are very friendly.
We stayed in room 6 with a shared bathroom. The mattress was so hard and the pillows so thin that I could not get comfortable sleeping my first night, and hardly slept. The bathroom was small and I did not like the shower head. That said, we glanced in the rooms that had a private bathroom and those all looked really nice.
There was also a good amount of road noise.
Buck made good food and generous portions for breakfast.
If I were to go again it would be in a room with a private bathroom and not room 6.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The owners make sure you have everything you need, gave helpful suggestions for food and near by hiking. The breakfast they provide is made to order and delicious! I would recommend this for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

This is a farmhouse with many years on it. It is convenient for outdoor enthusiasts to hike, bike, canoe, ski. An exceptional location for all of these. The house is comfortable, but guests need to realize it is a farmhouse once used as a farm. We enjoyed the hospitality and the accomodations.

We booked the suite since we were a group of 5. The suite had 3 rooms so we would have been quite comfortable but due to change of plans it was just us 3.
The hosts were warm and welcoming when they greeted us. Breakfast was lovely each morning, and they provided helpful suggestions for sightseeing.
At night we enjoyed sitting by the fireplace playing boardgames and cardgames and they kept the fire going and turned out candles after checking with us. We thoroughly enjoyed the rustic charm of this B&B filled with love, and the children are already talking about going back!

Buck, Clea, and Cass are very good at what they do; providing a friendly and intimate atmosphere. This was our 2nd time staying with them over the Thanksgiving holiday. My wife and I like the area for the endless hiking trails available. We continue to choose Whiteface Farm for the breakfast. I need breakfast to start my day and you won't find a better one anywhere. Clea is a credible resource for day plans in the area and the fireplace is so damn warm.

The area around the property is just beautiful. It is fairly close to Lake Placid and Buc and Clea are a lovely couple. Unfortunately, the breakfasts did not live up to the reviews. We have stayed in many bed and breakfasts around the world and were very disappointed with the bare minimum fare on offer. As well, the shower in our room didn't work, the fridge made sounds throughout the night and the hallway light flooded into our room so needless to say, it was impossible to get a good night's sleep. Also we could hear the cars throughout the night since we were fairly close to the 2 lane highway. The steps up to the 2nd floor also were very steep and difficult to navigate with luggage. We only ended up staying a couple of nights and would definitely not pay a return visit! Definitely not the relaxing stay that we had hoped for.

I really enjoyed staying here--so much better than a hotel. Clea and Buck were so welcoming, breakfast was yummy (real food, served hot!), the bed was comfortable the other guests were friendly and courteous. Check-in was super easy. I was nervous about the property being right on Wilmington Road, but it was quiet enough at night that I was able to sleep with the windows open, no problem. It's also really close to lots of fun things to do. I'll be back with the rest of the family sometime soon. Thanks, Clea & Buck!

Fabulous bed and breakfast! The owners are first class and are attentive to every detail. I was there during Ironman Lake Placid and they went the extra mile to help all the people staying there to have the best possible experience. The breakfasts were delicious and the rooms very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again. It also is very close to the mountain if skiing was a planned trip.

My wife and I had an amazing stay at this cozy bed and breakfast. Buck and Clea are wonderful people. They were very welcoming and engaging. We felt at home at their place. The food was also amazing! Everything was fresh and delicious. The property is conveniently located near everything the Adirondacks has to offer. We highly recommend staying here and will definitely be returning!

Amazing B&B in the Adirondack. The hosts are wonderful and the breakfasts AMAZING. The house is beautiful with tones of character, a lovely fire place, board games, hot tub, etc... The share part of the house is great to meet other travellers from everywhere and share a tea, or a wine! Highly recommend and will be back!

We usually got headed out after breakfast had ended and found a few scones or muffins had been saved for us as well as coffee kept hot.

Buck and Clea were wonderful hosts…warm, helpful and friendly. Breakfast is terrific, the rooms clean and comfy and plenty of areas to sit and relax or play the many games available. The location is close to Whiteface Mountain, Lake Wales and many other attractions.

Excellent daily homemade hearty or healthy breakfast, sure to please everyone! Cleo and Buck were helpful in recommending places to visit, even on a rainy day so no day was wasted; they were very kind couples. The place was always kept clean. The beds, pillows and towels were very comfortable. Remnants of old decor from the previous owners are evident, but this is what gives the place its unique farmhouse charm, and something for Cleo and Buck to continuously work for to give the place their own stamp. Love the new leather sofas, and the different zones to read and relax, For the price, this farm bed and breakfast is truly remarkable!

Clea and Buck are amazing host. Super welcoming. Check in was easy. Fridge in the breakfast room is full with all sorts of drinks. Breakfast is freshly made by Clea and it’s delicious. The house has such a unique feel to it. I stayed two nights with my daughter and I will most certainly be back.

We were lucky as this place was often fully reserved. We decided to skip NYC for some restive country stay. It was mid week so we managed to have a deluxe room for two. The location was great near to the Flume trail and the gorge as well as Lake Placid. Home made breakfast was yummy. The place was very well maintained and the hosts were very nice. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Totally enjoyed our short stay. Lovely place and with a homey feeling at the lounge area. Breakfast was delicious. The owners were wonderfully warm and accommodating. With the reasonable rate, we would definitely return and highly recommend it.

Clea and Buck were the most welcoming hosts. We got in late and they made check in easy. Offered up great suggestions for dining as well as hiking options. Easily walkable hiking options from the location and not far from dining options and other attractions. Perfect stay. Will definitely stay here again.

What a lovely stay. My boyfriend and I stayed there during the week over the summer and were the only ones there until the last day when we left it was a perfect place to be after a long day of hiking. The breakfast was wonderful and the hosts were very nice and helpful with great recommendations as well. Felt like home

We stayed at the Willkommen Hof Bed & Breakfast for a weekend trip in August. Very convenient location close to many hikes, and an easy 15 min. drive to downtown Lake Placid. The property was clean, comfortable and breakfast was delicious (with options for everyone)! We will definitely be coming back!

very nice host, quiet area, nice not have to fight for parking at night, my only negative would be the wireless-hit or miss. I would suggest adding a faster speed or additional hot spots, but otherwise, breakfast was outstanding and so were the host

What a great place to stay in the Adirondaks! The hosts were friendly, attentive, and made a delicious breakfast. Rooms were comfortable, well-appointed, and at a budget price. The location is convenient to many great sites in the region. I would definitely recommend/stay again.
