For what and where it is, it is clean and well kept. Nothing fancy. Refrigerator didnt work and hot water takes quite awhile to reach room. Otherwise good enough. Manager was very friendly.

I like the location in Mt. Shasta. We've stayed there before. I didn't like being given a room in the corner of the property. I was unable to look out my window. It was a beautiful day and all I could see was the other room doors and building structure.

Not even a in-room coffee maker : (

It’s just a super simple motel, not a lodge.
Pros: Refrigerator and microwave.

The premises were clean and open. My room was small but clean. Bathroom was updated and comfortably sized.
I had to be checked out early for business and was disappointed the lobby was not open for coffee.

Proximity to the freeway and center of town was helpful!

I arrived after a snow storm so there was at least 8 inches of snow unplowed in the parking lot. I had four wheel drive so it was not a huge issue. In fairness to the hotel most of the town's parking lots were full of snow including the police station. The hotel room was comfortable with a kitchen area. The staff was friendly and efficient. My only complaints were the bath towels look old and worn and the room smelled of disinfectant or cleaner. Otherwise a decent hotel for the price.

The owners were extremely hehpful, courteous, and kind. The room was a bit dated, but comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again.

Such a nice gentleman at the check in desk. The room was clean and simple and comfortable. A good value for the cost.

It was the smallest room we have ever stayed in. For the price, we expected coffee and queen bed like we had requested.

Mom and Pop economy stay. Very clean, updated and would definitely stay again. Pleasantly surprised. Bed was super comfy and windows kept all noise out. Very quiet!

I was actually surprised by the room I was staying in. Had originally booked a two bed before a friend had to cancel, and the room actually came with a separate room for the bed, definitely would’ve added to the privacy for us both. The room felt very clean, a couple crumbs near one of the beds in a place that would’ve been difficult to vacuum. Location is perfectly located near the downtown to mt Shasta, a bit of a walk if you don’t mind a nice walk to get going, but a straight 2-3 minute drive. Service was amazing, I accidentally locked myself out past midnight, and the front office closes at 10, but thankfully the owners stay on site. They were incredibly kind, so shoutout for saving me from sleeping in my car 😅. All in all, would love to come back.

No coffee in rooms, and no place to put a coffeemaker. Rooms were very small.
No breakfast for $120/night...
TV reception was horrible.
Office staff were nice and pleasant.
Bed was soft and very bouncy, but surprisingly, we slept very well.

The room I was given was easily one of the most bare bones hotel rooms I have ever stayed in.
However despite how minimalistic the room was, it met all MY needs. I needed a nice comfortable bed, a working air conditioner & a place to bath - Check, check, check.
My basic room included 2 rooms - A bedroom & a bathroom
Bed area: Room was equipped a queen size mattress. Somewhat thin comforter from the 90s. Decent size TV, mini size fridge & standard microwave. Chair/table.
Bathroom: Corner shower which I can see being awfully tight for larger individuals, Toilet (obviously), sink & a small built in closet. The only garbage can is also in the bathroom. Water pressure was fine & hot. It did take a minute to fully heat up though. My used towels & soap was changed promptly.
Price: I paid $610 (June 4-9). Not too shabby but still somewhat slightly expensive for a room this simple. Other nearby hotels would have been $750 . I know because I compared prices.
Location: Evergreen is slightly located away from.. well quite a bit but I didn’t mind walking to my destination aka town. Shasta is quite peaceful & I enjoyed getting to where I wanted on foot.
Notes: No one provided me with a WI-FI password & I didn’t care enough to ask but know in advance that AT&T service was somewhat spotty around this particular area of town. The room was cooled via wall air unit. No issues.
Despite being outdated, the property & my room appeared clean and maintained.

Excellent property and the service was over and above. Sweet lady

Good service and check in experience. Room was very spacious, although it might also be because they gave me one of the accessible rooms, as the motel was getting sold out during the holiday weekend. Not sure what regular room size is. I liked that there was a little breakfast table. The carpet was dirty and I couldn't quite tell how clean the room was, even though they said the room was very clean. TV screen is very small and distant, if that's something you care about. I don't really watch much TV so it didn't make a difference. Location is great- close to the main street but at the end of the strip which allows for more quiet time in my mind. Had hot water in the shower, just a reminder to let water run a bit first. Blanket was very thin so if you get cold easily like me, you'll either need warm clothes at night or asking for extra blanket. I would consider coming back, depending on price, as I don't think these rooms justify high price, even during busy season.

A good, solid, inexpensive hotel. The only thing that concerned me was the wet walkways in front of my room, which I worried about freezing. But it was a nice place.

I was traveling south and needed a place to sleep for the night. The reviews and score seemed to suggest this would be an adequate place to stay. The place looked pretty good on the outside, but once inside the carpet was filthy, I had to throw the comforter on the floor, and one of the pillowcases was also dirty. It was cold, but you turn the heat on and it gets too hot. Turn it off, it’s freezing. No insulation whatsoever. I thought I was gonna have a freezing cold shower, but the water finally warmed. I left at 4:00 in the morning because I couldn’t sleep anymore. I’m not very picky. All I require is a clean room. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Friendly welcome at this motel in Northern California. The room was perfect for relaxing couple days. Handy that you can park right outside the room. Also very handy having a fridge in the hot weather.
Mt Shasta was a mellow place to visit. Trinity Alps was well worth the trip for the hiking trails which were quiet and spectacular.

The room was very small and overpriced. No breakfast, no coffee maker. Bathroom and shower very small too. Could hear the road noise all night and morning. It was basically just a place to lay my head for the night. Wouldn’t return for $140 a night!

Our host was a delight. Our room was ready before the specified time.
