First, we were surprised at the look of the room. Lets say it had a vintage look; old furniture, old coloris bed Sheer. But, everything was clean, beds confortable. Space and very convenient Room. We would Return there.

Great location. Next to lots of restaurants, cold stream distillery and farmers market. Walking distance to STFX. Liked that it was ground level with parking and chairs outside the room. Microwave, fridge and keurig. Could use some updating inside the room. Bathrooms were tiny. Very clean. Would stay again for the convenience and great price.

The Homeward Inn was a great place to stay for the night. I wasn't particularly fond of the neighbors partying til about 3am (the walls are pretty thin), but the entirety of our stay was really lovely. The staff was super friendly and made sure we were comfortable and content. The cleaners were exceptionally pleasant and very helpful, as well. I look forward to staying again in the future.

Just what we needed for one night.

The room was impeccably cleaned, the Ac excellent & the staff very helpful.

Our room appeared to have been recently renovated with a large bathroom. A great place.

Arrived late so didnt spend much time. Dated decor, but clean and comfortable. Large room. Room smelled like cannabis.

Overall, for the price and for what I needed it worked. They are obviously trying to do some good upgrades/renos, but some of the interior is very dated and very cheap. I would feel safe here.

We needed a place for our family of 6 to sleep before taking the ferry to PEI the next day on our East Coast trip this summer. We arrived later than planned, but the staff were so kind and accommodating. Our suite was great. Clean and had everything we needed. Recommend breakfast across the road at A & W if you don't want to use the mini fridge or microwave to make something easy in your room. Also, Peace by Chocolate is just 3 minutes away and very much worth the visit. Their handmade chocolates are among the very best we've ever tasted...and we lived in Belgium for half a year, so we've eaten many handmade chocolates! 😆

Loved it

This was a great, affordable option for our one night stay in Antigonish. It wasn’t fancy but it had everything we needed, the staff was super helpful and welcoming, and it was close to SFX and several restaurants.

Consider providing something for breakfast that could be grab and go bag. Such as, banana, apple, granola bar, honey bun, etc

First room was like a storage unit with everything (fridge, sink, microwave, electric stove and 2 full beds) crammed into a small room. Toilet was broken and our non-smoking room stank of stale smoke. The new room had less in it and was larger, but the bedroom was still broken down looking with a tv that didn't work and was sitting on a low dresser. The bathroom had looked updated and brand new. A/cc blew nice and cool.

Hotel is old but clean.

The room and linens were clean.

The staff was amazing, they made sure we had everything we needed. I would recomend to anyone looking for accomodations.

It was a party house

It was a nice hotel, but the long term tenant was hanging jer laundry on the trees when we arrived

Fair price for acceptable accommodations

clean overall......they booked us in a room that was known to have toilet issues...which we found out about ourselves when we tried flushing it ...when we reported it the attendant asked me to try a plunger...which i didn't mind doing...no luck so they moved us to another room

Loved that we could park our vehicle and everything was within walking distance

Okay stay, average motel experience. My room ac has to turn to lowest temp for longer time to cool the room, hot water as well. Pictures of the room online doesn’t quite match what I expected. Room is clean and functional but small and cramp. But location is superb for dinning, surrounded by walking distance to Macdonald, A&W, Tim Hortons, Walmart and Superstore are 25 mins walking distance. Lots of gas stations around…that’s it.

Great for what a needed. Super class to everything

Booked the place at the last minute and late night as it was the cheapest option. Rooms are basic but excellent value for the cost in the area. Multiple food options on the same block and walking distance from the STFX, Farmer’s Market and more. Very easy to get too off the highway. Great option for passing through!

The tv channels were horrible could only get a few channels

Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable rooms, good WiFi, close to town. It looks like rooms are being refreshed and while ours hadn't been yet, it was clean, comfortable, and in good working order. We particularly appreciated the separate seating area as only one of us is an early riser.
