Loud environment in a hot room with no airco or temperature control. Curtains of no use. Room is sunny as of 05 o clock AM

The view from the room over the Haringvliet was uplifting and a wonderful way to wake up. The beds were quite hard and for us, not very comfortable. The room was functional, rather than luxury. The outside of the property needs a bit of maintenance. The staff were very helpful and there were EV charging points available.

We have had a lovely stay and enjoyed the location of the hotel. We would definitely look to stay again.

We spent one night here on a bike tour through Holland. It was rather cold and rainy when we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the beach or the area. That said, the hotel was pleasant. Our room was large, clean, and comfortable, and we enjoyed the big bathtub and terrace. The restaurant was good and the staff was helpful.

I had a great time with my family, large rooms and bathrooms, good food. Excellent service from the staff. Nice walks with beautiful views. Thank you.

Our stay at this property was nothing short of disappointing. First, it was a shame that they don’t take corona precautions seriously. The breakfast buffet was going on as usual (people could take and put back food as much as they please), with the only “precaution” being that people come at predetermined time slots. We were glad we didn’t end up booking breakfast here, since we saw just how gross and crowded the breakfast buffet looked. Also, while our room appeared clean initially, we noticed quickly that it’s actually covered in spider webs, and that the staff didn’t even take the time to ensure we have enough soap. After using the dispenser once, we ran out. Our bedsheets also had some massive holes in them, so that was nothing short of unpleasant. We were surprised in the evening by how thin the walls of the hotel were, as we heard screams and singing all through the evening and halfway through the night. Not to mention the fact that we were given two twin beds instead of the queen bed we booked, and the sea view room we had paid for was actually a restaurant view room. It was horrible to have people walk by our balcony regularly and peak into our room. Just an awful setup all around. And the cherry on top of the cake? The fact that the front desk member with whom we spoke simply dismissed all of our complaints and concerns.

We travelled by bike across Nederlands and Belgium and our stop in Roompot Beachhotel Cape Helius was a perfect choice. As we had some adventures on the road, we arrived pretty late (9 pm) and the staff really kindly re-opened the kitchen in order to gave us food ! Thanks to them !

Everything good. However if you sit outside on the balcony, you can see your above neighbour through the planks of the floor. If he moves his feet, you get the sand in your hair and your food, coming from his shoes. This is not acceptable.

I had a room with a view to the small beach across the hotel. The room is comfortable, and sets a good holiday atmosphere (it does not have airco or a refrigerator though). Location is great to reach beaches like Brouwersdam strand in a 20 min drive - or if you're fine with "fake" beach with some seaweed on the bottom, you dont even have to move much. The hotel restaurant and minimarkt are good for last minute meals too.

Sudden electricity shut down at 9pm. But their only suggestion is just wait till electrician come. The person arrived at 11:30pm. All my family members could not even take a shower and also be bothered by the person’s visiting during sleeping time. They affused to suggest any room changes and just told me that I should wait. Even almost rooms were empty. Never recommend to anybody. And also not clean and smells really bad on the bedding.

Close to a small beach and the old city centre of Hellevoetsluis. We would have liked an airco in the room, and more parking spaces on the premises.

The accomodation and area were very good with lots of options locally & a little way away. The beach was less than a 100 metres & I had a holiday dialysis unit less than 40 metres away on the same complex. Totally enjoyed my 5 night break, with costs overall being quite reasonable. Will most certainly go again.

The suite was above average size, bathroom and balcony also nice size. However there was no coffee/tea machine as stated, also not a full set of crockery so had to purchase 2 dinner plates. The fridge was basically a mini-bar so not enough space to store basic provisions. On arrival, the fridge was dirty inside and saw white mouldy spores inside the fridge housing. There was also half dozen cigarette ends left on our balcony. Although we informed reception housekeeping did not arrive until after 2pm the next day. Our room was directly over the terrace so was often noisy with smells of tobacco. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, as menu was very limited. Staff not particularly friendly either. Disappointing for the cost of staying for 5 nights. The location is lovely with plenty to see and do for couples and families.

I booked the hotel on expedia. It was advertised for £175 and gave all my card details to expedia. But I realised the charges were not taken from my account. Upon arrival to the hotel at the checking in, they told me regrdless of expedia prices advertised, i have to pay 211 euros. Which was around £200. My concern is why expedia took all my card details and advertised for £175 but upon arrival it’s a different story.

The accommodation here was spacious, light filled and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. Setting lovely in this quiet part of the world. By far the best value for money during our European holiday!
