A fabulous boutique hotel with such a friendly atmosphere!

Loved the patio out back. Location is convenient to most everything. Service was exceptional.

A easy 10 minute walk from the train station. The apartment is across the street from the hotel. Cosy with nice kitchen and bathroom. Lift available.

What a charming, beautiful hotel. We were concerned a bit when we realized there was no ac, once we got there and opened the windows and turned on the fans they provided we were just fine. The room was so darned cute! Decorations were amazing, and just enough. Bathrooms are newly remodel and super! Staff was super nice and breakfast buffet was worth the €10. About a 12 minute walk to the cathedral and shopping area. I cant say enough good things about this hotel and our stay in Regensburg, what a beautiful small quaint charming hotel and city.

We stayed in one of the apartments in a building opposite the main hotel. It has everything you would need for a short stay. Big enough- comfortable beds, clean. All the sights are within a comfortable walk If you have limited mobility worth knowing that although lifts serve the building the apartments are in, you will have a short flight of stairs to negotiate to get to your rooms Hotel staff are helpful and friendly. The staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Only a 10 or so minute walk from hotel to the beautiful older part of Regensburg. Unfortunately our room, which was located in the building across the street was extremely noisy due to traffic for much of the night. Since there was no air conditioning our choice was either to feel somewhat comfortable with cars driving by all night, being too hot. Room was large. Parking, which was also across the street from the hotel was a bit of a hassle - but is workable.

The room was quite small, on the last floor. Since it was very hot inside, having the window open was quite noisy from the road nearby.

Upon arrival the hostess greeted us warmly. We parked on-site and carried the bags to the 3rd floor (2nd floor in Germany because they dont seem to count the ground floor as '1'). The room was perfectly decorated, with a very comfy bed - subway tiles in the bathroom; nice shower too. Breakfast was perfect - light and enough to get us started for the day, exploring the city. I could see myself staying at this hotel only when I return to the area. Only negatives - late night noise from the area below our window (looks like a small beer garden) so windows closed. That mean a warm room. After about 4am I opened the windows and everything was perfect until what sounded like chainsawing nearby woke us at maybe 0730. No fault of the hotel, however.

Nice hotel overall, but our room was on the top floor and the only windows were in the ceiling. They did not open to allow fresh air and the room became quite warm even though it was chilly outside. Convenient paid parking on site and easy walk to the old town.

I stayed in the apartment which is facing the hotel across the road. Good parkkng underneath the flats. Apartment was comfortable and very good for the low cost.

We stayed in the apartment for this hotel and it was amazing. Very clean, modern decor - just perfect. Great value for top accommodations. Honestly, I would have rated this property at least 4.5 stars. It was really really great. I would definitely stay here again! Close to city center - can walk everywhere

Had to stay in Regensburg on a business trip. This hotel was very accommodating and attentive towards the guests. Free internet, bar in the evening, morning simple breakfast, all with very friendly service.

We booked the two bedroom suite which was great perfect for two cyclists on the road!

Comfortable little hotel. We walked from train station- 15-20 minutes- you will need a map to find it- on busy street. Room was nice, not air conditioned- couldnt leave open window since on first floor by parking lot (and no screen). Nice welcoming staff, clean comfortable room. Nice breakfast area with good spread of food items (not hot items except make-your-own waffle). Cost 10 Euros extra but worth it for convenience and price. I would definitely stay here again, though would request room on second floor.

The Hotel Luis is a relatively new hotel. Although it should be referd to as a Bed and Breakfast. The place have a lot of room for parking (some are in a 24 hour accessable parking garage). The staff is a very friendly gang of 20ies who obviously cares about the premise and offers great personal service. The rooms are far from a chain-hotel design, but offers nice vintage decorations and comfortable beds. WiFi is free and pretty good, and they also have books if you feel like relaxing in the lobby area with a drink in the evening. The hotel breakfast is prepared by the chef a few hours before being served and offers a wide selection of cuts as well as a self-serve waffle iron. Despite the lack of air-condition or fan I will highly reccomend this hotel to couples and people travelling for business. I hope the hotel will be operating for many years to come.

We are on a european road-trip and needed to spend one night in this town. What a nice town and what a nice hotel. Rooms are big, comfy and clean. Staff was great. No AC made it a tad warm and bed was a little hard but slept well.

Having booked a twin room this wasn't ready and we had to do some adjustments to the beds including asking for another sheet. The staff member on reception couldn't have been more helpful over this relatively minor issue. I would describe the hotel as quirky. Decor included a trunk in the room and the bar area where breakfast is served is lined with old wooden tables and chairs. The room itself has old unrefurbished plaster on the walls but this just adds to the quirkiness. Definitely a hotel with a difference and I liked it. Breakfast excellent though not served before 8am.

Friendly staff and good location. Not too far from the town center, but far enough to feel like you can get away. Good breakfast buffet is available. Definitely enjoyed the stay.

Hotel was clean and well presented, however check in was not so great, the receptionist was on the phone when we arrived and continued talking for 15 minutes before serving us. checkig in was a slow process, Then forgot to charge me for breakfast and repeated the process....
